The hostess was very sweet and my waiter Michael was great to bring me a drink while allowing me time to browse the menu.
I selected a unique dish that included Shrimp, scallops and avocado. So delicious- and fabulous presentation.
I then requested a specific sushi – rainbow roll with spicy mayo and eel sauce. It was perfect. Fresh fish and even better than expected.
To top it off, the General Manager, Jaime, treated me to a signature cocktail. Cheers!!
Red wine and white wine diversity was great.
Very welcoming atmosphere and kind service.
We noticed the service was mainly in Spanish and we didn’t insist in English.
We tried 2 rolls and they hit it right with flavor, quality and mainly the size. Not that it’s was excessive quantity, the bite sizes were easy to eat. I prefer rolls that are bite sizes than impossible to chew.
The roll has 10 or 12 pcs. Enough one roll per person. I think with one appetizer and one roll you are good to go.
The glass of wine wasn’t that full. But enough.
Decoration is above the Giralda restaurants around then.
They offer unlimited sushi on Sunday’s lunch for $39 pp and I will be back to try that!
Parking above Graziano’s is 30 yards away

I’m always looking for new sushi places and came across this one a few weeks ago through a post on TikTok or IG, can’t remember.
It’s located within the Alambra Plaza in Coral Gables. CG could be tricky at times for parking but there is a parking garage right above Graziano’s which is only half a block from Osumi and the rates are affordable.
Coming back to the restaurant, the two biggest selling points for me were the service and the drinks. The server was constantly checking on us, making sure we had everything we needed. As for the drinks, they were delicious, no doubt.
As for the food, we had:
– Spicy edamame – they were perfectly cooked and nicely spiced.
-Pork dumplings – Juicy, tasty. My complain here is that they were kind of cold, like they were sitting at the kitchen, but they were flavorful.
– Salmon and Tuna crispy rice – none of the two did it for me. While the fish was super fresh, flavors didn’t come through and the rounded shape of the rice and quinoa cakes is not ideal for biting if you are grabbing them with chopsticks, perhaps if they reshape the cakes, it will make them better, just my opinion. Price was also kind of expensive for only 2 pieces ($12 for 2 pieces). Because of all of this, I’m striking a star off
– Spicy tuna roll – it was delicious, fresh, spicy
– Osumi roll – this was perfect, the acidity of the pickled onions and the crispy quinoa were the icing on the cake. I had to order a second round of them.
All in all, good experience.
