Somehow since this location opened the quality of the restaurant has gotten SIGNIFICANTLY worse. At first I didn’t mind much because it was a new location and they were working out the kinks. But how does it go downhill from there?
Countless times my order has been just plain wrong. And the food quality is horrific. As someone who sometimes is quietly off that loud herself I genuinely think the cooks and baggers are high back there. Chick-fil-a may be a Christian restaurant but they are def using the devil’s lettuce in there. Which I genuinely wouldn’t care about if they wouldn’t give me fries that could be KNOCKED ON THE TABLE and make a sound.
I used to work at a chick fil a myself. No way that should have been allowed to come through the fry window. They were orange, and burnt to a crisp. They made a sound when they dropped out the bag. Also many times there’s still fat on the chicken patty! I understand that happening every once and awhile but EVERY TIME?!? come on.
As other reviews have mentioned this location frequently shorts customers on food portions. Not sure why. I ordered a large fruit bowl and it was barely full, they most def just took a medium and dumped it in there. This has happened twice now. Secondly, every time I order a small fry from here, I kid you not, they put 6-8 fries in the box. It’s absolutely ridiculous. If I go to the University Place location, this isn’t an issue.
The operator needs to get on top of this situation. I don’t know where he is. Some of the staff there are very nice and friendly which is why I give the atmosphere a 3 but the majority either need retrained, or to be let go as they clearly aren’t meeting the standards that are expected of a chick-fil-a employee. If you don’t wanna do the work, find another job.
Don’t hesitate to use this location for any catering needs or even just a quick bite. They will make sure you are taken great care of and happy!
I decided to say hello to the associate who’s name tag read Kyah. She then speaks to me once spoken to.
After placing my order, I took that time to inform the associate that the warm welcomes, along with good customer service was lacking at this location.
She asked me how, I expressed to her that no associate greeted us since we arrived until we spoke, It was so quite you can hear a pen drop.
I also let her know that chic-fila prides themselves on great customer service, and this location is missing that “It factor.”
A few mins later, I hear her walking down to several associates and began gossiping about my feedback.
Associates began staring at us during this time.
At this point I no longer wish to dine-in at this location with such unprofessional associates. Once my order arrives, I request to have my order as a, “Carry-out” order.
Next, i hear another associate with brunette hair and African American decent, Yell, “It’s a carry out now!?. As if it was an inconvenience to her.
Myself and Husband asked to speak to the manager on duty. When addressing our concerns, She stated that there were a lot of high school kids working this location.
That is no excuse for this horrible customer service. I have never seen such a low level of customer at a chic-fila establishment.
It felt as if i stopped at a Wendy’s location instead of Chic-fila.
I did let the manager onsite know that i will be sending this memo to corporate so that the lack of customer service at this location can be addressed.
I work in the marketing industry. I take pride in how well establishments prioritize customer service.
This location should consider consistent customer service refresher courses or new hires.
These young associates do not wish to work. They would rather stand around and talk to one another vs servicing hard paying customers.
I do not wish to return to this location ever again.
