The staff is very nice and kind, saw them handle a very impatient customer where she demanded/argued a 6 top now but clearly they only had table for max 4 people & have to wait. Once they left, they seated us. All the food was fresh and delicious, the nuoc cham def. is mild and not spicy which is good for those not wanting strong fish sauce. Not pictured was the grilled pork vermicelli bowl well balance of veggies, herbs, noodles and meat while the Vietnamese ice coffee is very authentic/so good.

Me and my girlfriend visited An Nam and our experience was great. The waiters were very friendly, the restaurant was very clean and quiet. I ordered the Chicken Pho and it was very delicious! Lean chicken, soft rice noodles, very filling portion. The prices of the bowls are also reasonable. I can recommend An Nam for a great pho!

I went with my friend a couple days before Christmas on a Monday evening and there was nobody else there, so my expectations were immediately set to “low.” So glad we were pleasantly surprised! We shared the oxtail pho (number 1 on the menu) and the bánh nậm and both were amazing! Even for our spoiled Vietnamese tastes, the flavors and textures were so good. The oxtail was the most tender I have ever had, the broth was clear but deeply flavorful and the noodled were cooked just right. I only wish they had waited just a minute for us to finish the bánh nậm before serving the phở because I like mine to be piping hot.
The drinks were also surprisingly outstanding, even though I have had many salted plum sodas before. My friend had a cocktail, which was strong enough and pretty too.
More patrons arrived later. Service was alright, as expected for a place like this.
Would come back again and again for the phở.

The food was great. The broth was flavorful and the noodles were bigger than normal pho noodles which is fine, was just surprised. The shrimp spring roll is okay. The meat portion in the pho was good too.

By far the BEST Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to!! Omg their Pho is so unique in that the noodles are thick and the broth was so rich in flavor. 11/10 .
The Wonton Noodle Soup w the pork wontons were SO GOOD!! I think this is the best wonton noodle soup I’ve ever had. The egg noodles were perfect and the broth was so flavorful. The wontons were so juicy. 11/10 .
The shrimp spring rolls were great starters although nothing special.
I would definitely come back here to try their claypot dishes (it looked really good) .

Great selection of food. We ordered the pork belly clay pot, and it was flavorful!! Wish it was a little less salty and included more veggies, but tasty nonetheless. Portion sizes were good.
The seating situation is a bit tight. I went with a friend, and we were sitting next to people whose conversation we could easily hear…

I was really excited to try this restaurant as I think there should be more recognition for upscale Vietnamese food. However, the food here is just ok. I tried a few dishes and none of them really stood out to me. They’re very typical of Vietnamese cuisine and I had better from restaurants in Dorchester. I was disappointed by their platters. We got the option 2 and 3. For $30 each, these platter were not worth it even, especially the fried platter. We also ordered a sugarcane juice which was also not good. The sugarcane juice tastes old and it was hard to finish.

Service (George) and food were outstanding. vegetables were fresh. GREAT selection of flavor blends and types of dishes. atmosphere a little cold and not too conducive to private conversation when full. some acoustic treatment would help the boominess
Thai tea was quite good.
I will return for the excellent food and service!!!

Not worth a visit. First, on the weekend, parking is quite difficult here. Second, the Vietnamese food at this restaurant is mediocre. Third, the ambience of the restaurant is a bit off.
Spring rolls were decent, we got the pork version and the flavor of the charred meat was good. That’s where it stopped being good.
We had the grilled pork Bahn mi and grilled shrimp vermicelli bowl. It took about 45 min to get these served (should’ve taken 10) and both were definitely not worth the wait. The Bahn mi was small ($14-16) and the baguette lacked crunch or texture. The vermicelli bowl similarly lacked flavor.
All in all disappointing — skip!

We had a party of 6 and a baby, which they were able to accommodate easily. The server was patient and helpful as we were reviewing the menu.
Our orders were prepared promptly and everything came out timely. All appetizers and entrees were delicious and the pho was very flavorful.
Overall, service was top notch and the food was really good. Don’t frequent Assembly Row area, but would eat here again if we came back this way.
