I stopped in on February 14th to try out a new pizza place that I pass all the time. I picked up two pizzas, a classic cheese and one of their specialty pies. Whenever I try a new pizza place, I always start with a plain cheese. If a shop can do a cheese pizza right, everything else usually follows, and Gonzos definitely delivered.
The pizza itself was fantastic, great flavor, quality ingredients, and a solid crust.
My only “issue” is I am someone who prefers my pizza “well done”. Will be sure to ask in the future if this is a possibility.
Before leaving, I had a chance to talk with the owner for a few minutes, and you can immediately tell how much they care about their food and what they offer to the community. That kind of passion really shows in the final product. Thank you to the owner for being so friendly and taking the time to chat about pizza and the business. It made the visit even better.
Always happy to support a small business that clearly takes pride in what they do.

Gonzo’s pizza is the best in the area, hands down. You may pay more and wait longer-but it’s worth it in my opinion. Gonzo’s is more of a treat in my home because we easily spend over $60 for a family of 4. Don’t care. When it’s Gonzo’s night, it’s worth every penny. We especially love the stuffed pizza (with red sauce on top) and the deep dish! The crust is amazing! No crust left behind with Gonzo’s!!

When I crave pizza especially deep dish, Gonzo’s is hands down where I go. As a small mom-&-pop pizzeria, the owner Arturo (better known as Gonzo) makes sure each pizza is perfect, with the freshest ingredients. He never disappoints with his attention to detail and the love he puts into his food.

Excellent pizza. Great sauce and quality toppings. We dined in and were treated great! We ate the Special +, was outstanding with perfectly cooked crust. Also had a Hawaiian and a Cheese. Cannot say enough about the crust and sauce.

Love the eclectic Rock ‘n Roll atmosphere in this little pizza place! Good customer service and the staff are attentive. The kids really liked the mozzarella “stix” and cheesy “guitarliky” bread. The pulled pork nachos are fantastic! The pizza is good, too. We ordered a thin crust with our favorites (sausage, onion, green pepper, and extra garlic) and the veggies were perfectly sized so that nothing overwhelmed anything else. It was a great experience and we will be back, maybe on a live music night.

Gonzo’s fresh roll are amazing and this is one of his specialty pizza’s and it was perfect. Art is a great business owner and comes out and greets his patrons. Also is in the back working with his kitchen staff.The price is reasonable for the quality of pizza you are receiving. We try to make a point to stop in when we come to town.
