Thai Pepper Restaurant Owner!
I am writing to express my extreme
disappointment regarding a recent experience at your Bristow location. I ordered mango sticky rice for takeout, and upon receiving it, I was shocked to find that the mango was clearly not freshly cut, as I was informed over the phone. The quality was far below what I would expect and it raised serious concerns about food safety and potential health risks for my children, who were luckily spared from consuming it.
I understand that mistakes happen, but the blatant misrepresentation regarding the freshness of the ingredients is unacceptable.
Providing customers with inaccurate information regarding food preparation undermines trust and could have had severe consequences. My primary concern is the potential for foodborne illness. I hope you will address this issue immediately, reviewing your food preparation and customer service protocols to prevent similar incidents in the future.
While I understand that profitability is important, I believe prioritizing customer health and safety should always be paramount. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and implement the necessary changes to ensure your customers receive the quality and honesty they deserve. I will not be returning to your restaurant. I encourage others to exercise caution and be aware of this incident.

PEOPLE PLEASE AWARE.

Best Thai Tea I’ve had in Virginia – these are often ordered 2 at a time, because one is never enough. You have to find your dish. After a few visits, I found that the Kua Gai Noodles (pictured) are my favorite (spice added on the side as a preference). The Tom Yum soup is also great (very sour, it hits the spot!), and the service is also quick and friendly. Give them a shot!

The food I received from my delivery on Uber Eats was absolutely disgusting. Foul tasting would be putting it nicely. I ordered the duck rolls and the pad Thai. I couldn’t even get past the first bite. I haven’t been this disappointed in a while. The noodles were clumped together like a brick and the duck rolls were everything but edible. I likely will not return. The quality is unacceptable and I’m nauseous.

Been going to Thai Peppers for years. I noticed recently that the To Go Containers have changed and are now quite a bit smaller. For $16 per item, it’s now just a bit pricey for what you get. The meal size no longer fills me up and I refuse to purchase two meals when they are that price. I completely understand you have costs you have to pass on but I think I will exercise my right to go elsewhere from now on.

Ordered thai green curry tofu and red curry tofu for lunch . Soup was cold and it felt like just water and it was served in tiny tiny cup . Curries quality was also too small for lunch portions. Taste of red curry was better than green curry. Green curry just tasted like water , may be because i asked for medium spice .Ambiance and restaurant looks good . Will i go again , no ..

I ate here once, probably back in 2015 and recalled it being “just ok” but nothing spectacular. Since it was so long since the last time I was here, I tried it again recently and got carry-out. We tried Pad Prik Khing and Kra Pow, as well as some Ton Yum.

The Tom Yum was decent, nicely spiced and tasted fresh. The stir fried dishes were really bland-looking, the sauce looked very clear, not tinted with spice, like we’re used to seeing. The flavor was ok, but not very rich and deep. Their basil fried rice was decent though.

Overall, seems not much has changed since the last time I tried their food… doubt I’ll return.

Very Bad service , we were the only table sitting in the whole restaurant and waitress never greeted us on arrival, we had to ask her table of two, she said sit anywhere it’s empty, when she came to the table to take order ,there were no greetings, just took the order with a attitude , and left. Someone else brought the food, but our waitress never came to ask how the food was or if we needed anything else. When my water glass finished, I had to go to her with my empty glass to ask for a refill and ask for a water glass for my wife. The whole time, she was busy on her phone sitting in an eye distance from us busy on it. I also ashed her why she was so upset and was she working since morning and was she tired and didn’t want to be here.. she said only for the past 5 hours. I also noticed that they are getting lots of take put orders and people don’t eat at the restaurant, now I know why, food I’d is good and service is not.

If you want a sit-down experience, this is not a place to be.

We ordered online last for pickup. Three entrees and one app was $81, so it was definitely pricy. We noted after the fact that the online order process automatically added a 10% tip, which we brought to the restaurant’s attention and they did not address. When we got back and opened the food, we found that the app was VERY overcooked, and one of the three entrees was wrong. We ordered Pineapple fries rice (which comes with shrimp), and then paid $5 to put chicken on it….and when we got home there was chicken with no shrimp.

Overall a very underwhelming dinner, and 100% not worth $81.

Solid Thai place to eat after we visting the temple from out of town. Restaurant looks pretty new and is very clean. Curry and Pad See Ew were tasty. Thom Yum was decent along with the fried rice. They also made my mother Lad Na, which wasn’t on the menu. Looked like a full service bar as well, which you don’t usually see. Would eat again to try a new dish if back in town.
