This place is super cute I love the Rooster outside. I got the chicken tenders and fries with 3 sauces. The blueberry bbq, Asian soy and the Parmesan sauce. All were delicious. The chicken tenders are not seasoned because they put the sauce on them. Everyone was friendly and polite. They have a great outdoor seating.

Loved it! Food was simple and so flavorful. The service was great! Carly was super sweet and attentive. Im all about a good chicken sandwich and cheap drink prices. They even have a Zada Jane’s sandwich, representing the icon brunch spot this once was. Fun and casual, or and great tunes out of the speakers. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I got the chicken sandwich with hot sauce and waffle fries.
The fries were nice and hot. The chicken in the sandwich was over cooked. The bacon was not crispy, it was so hard I had to check to see if I had a piece of wood in my sandwich.
Over all it was just a ok sandwich. I would not make a special trip to come here.

We really wanted to come the first week as we have been following the social media for the opening! It did not disappoint. The sauces for all the chicken were really flavorful. The seasoned waffle fries are real stars of the show! We tried a variety of foods and all excellent! This is gonna be a great food spot for anytime you are in the area! That rooster out front is a great addition to the ambience!

After a long day out with my almost 9-year-old, came into the Painted Rooster to grab some grub and check out a place I had never been to. I moved away from Plaza-Midwood in 2018 for Concord (better school district) and don’t get to this side of town much anymore. But today we had an event nearby so it was the perfect opportunity for a little food adventure.
We were sat quickly and the place was hopping! My son and I were served by the very welcoming Riker. He was quick to bring us our drinks and super knowledgeable about the menu, all the more impressive when later he told me it was only his first week. He walked through the options and was great with my kid too.
Now – the food! We split some nuggets as well as the chicken bacon ranch Mac N Cheese. Everything was absolutely amazing! The nuggets are crispy and fresh, the sauce offerings well varried and delicious ( I recommend the Cheerwine BBQ ), but the star for me was the mac n cheese. This place has unseated Jack Beagle’s as the King of mac n cheese in Charlotte in my opinion. Can’t recommend highly enough

What a DELICIOUS GEM! My friend and I came around 11:30 am and we were immediately seated outside in their patio area. The hostess was a bit quiet and shy and hard to understand her. Our server Tori was phenomenal! He was very friendly, efficient, and gave great recommendations! I ordered the 6-piece traditional buffalo wings with a side of fries and a side Cesar salad. It was very delicious. The wings were very warm, tender, and mild enough for them not to be too spicy. The fries were crispy just how I liked them and not soggy at all! The salad was very fresh and paired well with the wings. I ordered a cosmopolitan and OMG! It was the best one yet. It was very refreshing and not sweet at all. It had the right amount of alcohol and just enough juice which all blended very well and was not sugary at all. It was all very delicious and fantastic and I cannot wait to return and try some of their other items on their menu. They have a small parking lot right behind their building but it is located off Central Ave so you can find street parking around the neighborhood.

Ryker was very personable and accommodating. Great banter! Food was fresh and hot, perfection(chicken Cesar salad wrap). I indulged in the Rooste-Rita and the Rooster’sGarden, chefs kiss. Simple and delicious. Highly recommend. Enjoy!
