My husband and I decided to try out a new place today. Happy to report that they did NOT disappoint. Not only was this place clean and open. The staff was super nice. Food portions were great! My sandwich (which had the bread in a different box so it wouldn’t get soggy ) wasn’t small by any means. Everything has fresh and hot. So, if you like the things you see on their menu. You should give them a try!

I love supporting local businesses. The service was good and relatively quick. The food was good but nothing outstanding. It was just fish and the portions were pretty small for the price. I did think the baked beans were pretty good. A two piece fish with two sides was nearly $18. My husband had the meal with coleslaw and said it was just okay.

Great addition to the Highview area. Food was good and portions were large. By all means not cold, but could been have been hotter. Staff was friendly and we LOVED our waitress, Amy. Good atmosphere and decor, Dining area and restrooms were very clean. Still a few things that need to be worked out but overall a great place.

We’ve eaten at Cadillac’s twice since our first wonderful experience and have not had great food both additional times. One time was on Derby day (dine in) third time, last night, carry out. We’re creatures of habit so each time We’ve ordered the same thing. The 2 piece cod meal with two sides and the one piece cod sandwich with one side. The fish the last two times is super dry and rubbery. Almost as if it was made hours earlier and reheated in the microwave. It was awful. Unbelievably gross and too rubbery to chew. Spending that kind of money to be served food I wouldn’t feed my dog, is not the experience we want. Unfortunately, the derby day experience left us feeling like maybe they we’re just having a bad day. Last nights carryout experience has left us feeling like maybe they just have lost the initial luster and standards they once had when they first opened and now everything might just not be fresh from here on out. Sadly, with all this, we have decided we will not be back. They didn’t hold the candle for long against Mike Linings. I’m sorry Cadillac’s. We tried to give you the benefit of the doubt and the second and third sting with uneatable, gross, rubbery, nothing close to fresh fried fish has been enough to make us decide to call it quits and part ways with your establishment.
I do not like leaving poor reviews but I felt that others need to know, that they might too experience this as well.
I am still giving you two stars because the very first time was great.
My husband and I got take out from here tonight for the first time. Hands down fantastic and worth every penny. The place was clean, the pick up process is easy and organized. The gentleman that waited on me when I arrived was very nice and quick. I was greated by him when I walked through the door which was nice to be acknowledged right when I arrived.
Our food was prepared for carryout well. It was still very hot after my drive home, which was about 15 minutes… I think this place has another well known fish place down on the river beat! The cod, hushpuppies and onion rings were super yum yum. My husband enjoyed his coleslaw too. They make the tarter sauce in house and it was very good.
This place did not disappoint. We will be back. Before I forget…they even took the time to poke vent holes in our Styrofoam containers so our fish wouldn’t steam and get soggy on the way home. Very thankful for that little extra care. So many places don’t do that and soggy fish is not any good. Thank you for that extra thought with our order!

I have one word for this place… AMAZING! Service was super friendly, polite and most of all covid safe! Everyone was wearing masks and the tables are spaced out perfectly. The spinach and artichoke dip is hearty and delicious: served with made to order chips that are to die for! The catfish was flakey and moist and cod nuggets where “pop-a-ble” and full of flavor.

Drove all the way from oldham county to try this place, and it did not disappoint. I got the fish tacos and they were really good, so is the Cadillac sauce on them! Fried pickles and wedges were great also! I’ll definitely come back!!

Fish taco lovers rejoice! Stopped in after reading article about this little gem. Our server was attentive and sweet. We ordered fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. They were delicious served with a homemade dill/horseradish sauce. I came here for the fish tacos and they didn’t disappoint. You get two in an order made with fried fish and beautifully dressed. Hubby enjoyed his fried cod dinner. You get a large portion of fish, two sides plus hushpuppies. Have to mention their breading is worth coming in for, it’s not your usual heavy batter. We both had the homemade sweet tea. Restrooms were clean, friendly staff.
Definitely will be back. If you’re looking for a new place to grab some delicious fish stop in.
