NOW OPEN! Industrial Taphouse West features classic American eats and exceptional brews in an industrial-chic setting. We are a family-friendly, full-service restaurant and showcase quality ingredients with a focus on fresh, seasonal, and local products when available. Food was good but this NASTY fork came wrapped in a napkin. So it must have been handled by at least two people who could have put it aside as not not suitable for customers. When I saw it, I held it up to my table to she the others. All of us recoiled. Nope! Not in my mouth. Kind of makes you wonder about the items you could NOT see.

The Industrial Taphouse West is a hidden gem conveniently situated in Goochland, VA. It’s close to both 64 and 288. The restaurant has ample convenient parking with a cozy exterior that hides the sleek industrial interior.
There’s an array of seating options from high tops to tables with sturdy chairs and spacious booths. There’s a large patio with gas heating, tables and outdoor games like cornhole.
We started with the pretzel with beer cheese and the crab dip. Both were delicious and well seasoned, with fresh beer flavor and lump crab instead of claw or shredded.
For entrees we tried the steak kabobs (3) with fries and the seasonal sun dried tomato pasta with shrimp. Both were delicious and well seasoned; the kitchen was able to make the kabobs allergy safe. The French fries were properly cooked and well seasoned.
We wrapped up the meal with the brownie sundae and fried dough. The brownie sundae was delicious – very chocolate forward and sized for sharing. The fried dough was closer to a beignet than dough. My only suggestion would be to offer the flavor combinations as a dipping sauce as the chocolate filling wasn’t noticeable.
Overall an excellent experience and much more enjoyable than the areas corporate chain options. The restaurant has a great selection of beer, wine and cocktails in addition to great food.

Great menu, awesome happy hour. Love seeing new specials every week. Great draft beer selection. Plenty of seating for large groups and the most comfortable bar seats around! Menu favorites, industrial cheese steak, brisket melt and pimento cheese burger.

Went here for lunch with a very large group of people. The waitress was very accommodating and made sure everyone’s order came out correctly and quickly. The food was great. I had the industrial cheese steak, which was uniquely made with their own beer and cheese sauce along with fried mushrooms and fried onions. Was really tasty.

My wife and I started coming to the Taphouse a few months ago. We come weekly now. Sometimes we now come a couple of times a week. The food is good and the service is awesome. We always ask for Kayley as our server. She is absolutely great!!!

We’ve been in a few times but came in Saturday with the kids. We had such an amazing time! The food was fantastic—especially the creamy, flavorful crab dip—but the real star was our server, Emily. She was absolutely incredible with the kids—patient, upbeat, and full of personality. They adored her fun energy and individuality! She even added extra cherries to the Shirley Temple, which totally made their night. Service was attentive, kind, and full of heart. We’ll definitely be back!
