Sometimes you cant be too sure about hotel restaurants but Seaview terrace is the exception. We got there right when they opened for dinner service and sat down immediately. Service was a little slow but it was busy and we weren’t concerned. The views are amazing and the food was delicious. The bread on the appetizers is a must!! Also delicious veggie burgers.

The food here is great, the staff here is great, and the vibe is awesome. I recommend sitting out side with the great ocean view. The lobster Mac and cheese is absolutely delicious with great texture and flavor. The seats are comfortable and there is usually a live singer who will sometimes take suggestions. Our waiter(Kalei) told us stuff about the birds and life in Hawaii.100/10 recommended

Breakfast buffet is very large and diverse, and available to those not staying at the hotel. The dining area is gorgeous and looks out over a water feature, with live animals and the ocean. The staff were amazing and so helpful, quick with assistance if needed. I ordered off the menu and got the Salmon Lox Bagel Sandwich, which was a delightful surprise. Very large and filled with many toppings. Highly recommend, even for the price.

Those was a nice experience with a great ambient setting. We had almost all deserts on the menu. Some like the mousse are fantastic, others like the cheesecake and the duo should be hard passes. The Bao.and Bahn MI were good

We came in for a few cocktails and some appetizers around 7:30 on a Saturday. We were seated right away, and greeted by our server Caleb immediately. He was awesome, and made our experience even better than we expected. The food was excellent, and the drinks were delicious.

We had an absolutely lovely dinner on the huge patio. Our server Janice was incredibly welcoming and took great care of us. We shared a burrata with heirloom tomatoes and a burger – both were perfect. You can’t beat the atmosphere – a view of paradise with music at the perfect volume. Free valet parking too.

You’ve heard of a million dollar view? Well The Seaview Terrace has a billion dollar view. Maybe I’m pushing it some but it is fantastic! You can get drinks and food while enjoying the view. Most evenings they have great music too, all at the Grand Hyatt!

The food was a bit over priced, but that is expected eating at a resort and the atmosphere. It was the only place that we could eat without reservations. So, make sure you make reservations at the restaurants. I thought the food was just ok. I wasn’t blown away by what we had. However, the chocolate mousse crunch was yummy and the tempura Paradise roll was perfectly fried.

One of the more challenging aspects of Kauai dining is finding a suitable dining spot when casual plate lunch places have all closed and more formal sit-down dining is all booked, especially in the touristy Poipu area

There’s something for everyone and while the prices are a bit elevated reflecting the hotel location, it’s very convenient with plentiful space for walk ins and no reservations taken

If there were 10 stars it would be a 10!! I had a grilled Ahi sandwich and a Happy Madison for lunch and it was so amazing. My food was great and the drink fixed everything… lol actually it really did. Very nice views as well, overlooking the water and lighthouse in the distance. Truly wonderful.
