Asked for a well done burger a d it was raw still… if a restaurant can’t make a well done burger right, am good. First and last time going. I went on my birthday, the 11th, and I had a margarita, in a beer glass, wasn’t asked what kind if liquor I wanted in it, and I was the only black person there. Yea, no, not ever again ‼️that’s my test when I go to any restaurant I’ve never been, I order a burger to see if that goes well.

We have eaten here so many times and it’s always excellent. The nachos are a must! Burgers are amazing! And the special are always fantastic! Highly recommend!!

Chicken francese, chicken parm, so good… Even chicken tenders and fries are the bomb! The place is a little small, and the barfly2 but the food! – Sal’s has a full catering menu that I’ve used several times and never been disappointed ♡

Stayed in the area on 8/19 and needed somewhere to eat dinner. Saw this add for Sal’s Place in Highland as a Dive Bar but went anyway. Happy I did,
No Problem going to Dive Bars as it is only another name for Locals to Hang out. Glad I went, food and service were AOK! Was busy but Dania did a Great Job! Jamaican Jerk Wings were plump and delicious, best I had in a long time! Other meal was Chicken Tacos that was filled and great tasting. Drinks were made perfect and prices were very good. I will in the area again in a few weeks and will definitely be in again. Keep up the Good Cooking!!

This little place is so unassuming, so you can come as you are! Decent food, attentive waiter, and prices these days that can’t be beat. Had the chicken carbonara, I’m walking out of here stuffed (ugh) – it was very good. Surprising menu items, because it just looks like a bar (like I said, unassuming place) but I’ll have to come back and try them! Forgot to take a pic of my plate, but it was presented nicely.

This place is Great to visit with the whole family . The food was Good . The atmosphere was good , but what made it great was the service , the lady went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted . She even got a coloring book and crayons for my 5 yr old to have something to do while we waited for our food . I recommend you drop in if you’re in the area .

Dive bar in Highland, NY. It’s worth the visit for sure. Hospitality is great as the owner Sal came around and greeted us. The waitress was on point. We got the wings, and these were your old school wings, meaty and flavorful. Definitely not the pigeon wings you get from some places. So yea, Sals place is absolutely worth the whiskey

Great food. The 99 Vineyard Ave Burger was outstanding and the fries were crispy. Other dishes are Chicken Parmesan with Penne Pasta, Steak Teriyaki Salad, and Pasta with Clam Sauce. All dishes were delicious.
