I googled fried seafood near me, I’m in Dallas for work! First off they had a special for 18.19$ one piece of catfish and 9 shrimp w/ fries. I don’t eat catfish! I asked for the special but instead of catfish replace it with Tilapia! I get there, she rings it up and it’s $16.57. I say ok she then changes her mind and says hold on it’s $20.56. now I’m not to sure about seafood prices but catfish is more than tilapia right? Whatever.. I pay for it, get back to the van. And EVERYTHING ON MY PLATE IS TRASH! My tilapia was hard on the sides, my shrimp ended up being breaded like butterfly! Fries ice cold! No containers for hot sauce! Just over all a waste of time and money! I’m not sure if it was a off day or to busy. But it was ridiculous! I was so excited to eat here, and very disappointed with the situation. I asked for a receipt. The lady explained that her register was messed up, she could text it to my phone. But also that she was to busy to do that. I’m over it. You can see in the pictures I left.

Fresh cooked. Average wait time for having food cooked to order. No long line. Special request honored. Cooked with love and care. Just enough seasoning. This time I ordered the porkchop basket comes with 2 chops French fries, 1 slice of toast and sauce.

First timer here. The food was delicious. I had the catfish and wing combo with fries and a drink. The catfish had great flavor, not overly crispy. The wings (sweet heat) were delicious aswell. The fries were not crispy but they were good. Some people have different ways they like their fries so that didn’t make me not want to share my experience. The kool aid I had with the meal was good, not overly sweet, I like it more on the sweeter side. Definitely coming back again, would recommend everyone to try.

my fries were burnt and very greasy. As you can see It taste like it was cooked in

The experience I had was utterly disappointing. My visit yesterday revealed an unwelcoming atmosphere—dark, gloomy, and quite unfriendly. The customer service was unacceptable. Just because it’s a Saturday afternoon does not mean customers should be treated poorly. Ordering a four-piece fish plate should not come with such a negative experience.
To make matters worse, I was charged $25 for a measly two-piece fish cut into four, served with an excessive amount of greasy fries and tired white bread accompanied by a hamburger pickle. This meal, was served in a rundown establishment with a broken restroom, with gospel music blasting so loud the cashier could not hear whomever she was talking aggressively with over the phone! This experience falls well short of acceptable standards. The level of customer service needs significant improvement. I cannot recommend this place.

Food is amazing ! I got the pork shops and catfish deal !! , atmosphere is so down to earth and the portions are large ! Any time I’m in Dallas I have to stop by! The po-boys are too !

Went in for the first time since moving to the area, wanted to order food walked in no greeting or anything. Looked at the menu decided what we wanted and waited on the young man cooking he was on his phone no gloves making another order. While he was texting I said we are ready or order he looked at us walked to the counter and started back texting. So me and my husband decided to just leave and go to Ronnie’s catfish on red bird. No apology or anything

Me and my daughter had a catfish craving around lunch time today. Lucked up on this place, cozy atmosphere and great customer service. The catfish and homemade fries was tasty, and I really enjoyed their homemade tartar sauce, yummy! Will definitely go back!
