Okay, you really need to manage your expectations on this one. It is in an former Wendy’s location and the area behind the store it clutterd with broken cabinets, old racks and a broken sign. It’s not well kept at all. Do NOT go inside. Some things are better left unseen. But DO call in your order. DO pick it up at the window from the nice lady. DO take it home and enjoy it. I had the oyster poboy. It was pretty decent. I can tell that someone working there either wears a patchouli hand cream or has an incense burning because tge flavor was incredibly strong in one of my fries. It does tell me that bare hands touched those fries though, and that I’m not haply about.
I am glad I didn’t see the inside of the store from what I’ve read, but the poboy was tasty and a nice size. There were 8 oysters. They were a bit on the salty side, but I didn’t mind with the lettuce, tomato and pickle–if you know you know.
From the looks of the ice machine in the photos, do NOT order a drink.

Nasty restaurant, food on tables, floors, and filthy atmosphere. Not greeted when entering and we were the first customers of the day. Should’ve turned around then. Food overpriced and very small quantity…not to mention that it was just ok. To add insult to injury, I got quarters from the cashier to buy my grandson a tattoo from the machine in the lobby and it took my money and didn’t put out anything. When I told the lady the machine took my money and there are no tattoos in it, …her reply was ohh ..ok! That’s it. No offer for refund or apology. Should’ve known there was no concern, she was wearing slippers walking through the restaurant like she was at the house. SMH what awful customer service and a true eyesore on the inside. PASS ON BY THIS ONE!!

We had stopped in after hearing the seafood and burgers were good. I got a burger while the wife got a shrimp and fish plate along with a cup of gumbo. She says it all tasted good and she enjoyed her dinner.
My burger was okay but nothing to rave about. It was better than most fast food offerings though. The fries were standard and nothing special in taste it appearance.
We did get an onion blossom and it came out very hot and tasty. No complaints on service.

The gumbo was very good, friend catfish was good and the slaw was different but very good. The place is a converted DQ or something but they put out some good food and the gumbo is VERY good.

Every time I visit my hometown I eat here! It was Memorial Day and my cousin and I didn’t have any BBQs to attend so we stopped here but the were closed. The kind lady came out and stated that they decided to open. She said they were setting up and it would take 30 minutes to prepare our food. It was so hot outside so she invited us in to the dining area. We ordered and got our food and had a wonderful dining experience! The food was amazing and most of all, my cousin and I got the chance to spend time together like we did when we were younger. Thanks so much to the staff here!

This was the most disgusting food I have ever had! We spent over $100 and couldn’t even eat it! No service! The fish tasted gummy soggy and undercooked and like straight up mud. The coleslaw was soured. The chicken was overcooked and dry. I wouldn’t feed it to my dog! Over priced for shitty food.

I had the three piece fish. My wife had a ham and cheese po boy with light mayo. Looks like it was one piece of fish cut into three piece. Coleslaw was not good at all. Hush puppies were the best part of the meal. My wife’s po boy had one piece of ham and looked like it was only mayo and bread.

Me and my wife stopped at this place to grab some food we ordered a catfish dinner which it reads (3) Pieces of catfish two hush puppies regular french fries, and coleslaw initially the fish came out uncooked so I asked them to rep repair it and I was brought out nothing but broken up small pieces of fish. I wish I could add the picture to this review. This is such a shame. They only have so many food places in this area to eat and a person can’t even get proper treatment for the money.
