This diner is a diamond in the rough. It is a lot bigger than it seems. The bathroom was spotless and smelled clean. We were greeted as soon as we sat down in a booth, you pick where you want to sit. Typical diner vibes, I love this; old photos, classic seating and counter bar with the old stools. I had the triple decker club with fries and a side of gravy. My boyfriend had the all meat omelet with home fries and toast. I didn’t get a beginning picture because it looked so good we instantly started eating. The club was perfect and very filling. I had left overs. Something about the turkey and ham that elevated it, didn’t taste like the common lunch meat club. The fries are battered and absolutely delicious. The gravy had a thick consistency of that of homemade. If it wasn’t homemade, it was some of the best packaged gravy ever. My boyfriend said the omelet was great. Lot of meat and very tasty. The home fries were crisp. Everything came out hot. The prices are great. We were checked on several ties by various staff( not too much to be annoying). Everyone was Sooooo nice. They make you feel like they really want to make sure that you enjoy your meal. The outside isn’t much to look at and it is at a truck stop but don’t let that deter you from stopping in.
There is a store with various essentials and also several games.
Frank’s is one of the best diners with homemade food that we have been to. I really don’t have any complaints. We will definitely go back when in that area.
Shoutout to Spencer, our server
, he was amazing.

My husband and I randomly went here and there ended up being live country music (apparently they are there every Wednesday), the server was so sweet, and the food was delicious! If you’re passing through or just want some diner food, this is the place!

Ashleigh, Crystal, Nicole, Payton, Jay, and the daytime chef are top notch. Stumbled upon this place and can’t wait to come back. It’s a true hidden gem with phenomenal food, impeccable service, and adequate facilities. I have their biscuits and gravy, 2scrambled eggs, sausage links, mango habanero wings, lemon pepper wings, mild wings, fries, onion rings with their Philly cheesesteak were all next level with large portions.

Having the pleasure of dining at Frank’s restaurant for the first time, I must commend them on their exceptional home-style cooking the liver onions and gravy with mushrooms with the sides of collard greens and mac and cheese was excellent.

Today, as we ordered breakfast another waitress served a plate of food to a man, who had been sleeping with his head on his table. The waitress then began to eat off of this man’s plate with her fingers. She went back and ate with her finger’s off of the man’s plate four more times. Then she folded new t-shirts that were for sale. Another patron came in and sat down and this same waitress took his order with a styrofoam drink in her hand, her drink, which she drank while taking his order. Shortly after she tried to serve our food to us, we refused, because she was eating with her fingers, drinking at a table, and never washed her hands. When we objected to our meal, she immediately went to the kitchen and washed her hands and tried to re-plate our food. We decided to leave. That’s when the man she served at first, where she ate off of his plate, aggressively approached me and said, “you can go somewhere else to eat”. We learned she was the manager. I guess she ignored the conditions of her food handler’s card because the owner was not present that day. She took advantage at her job, invited who appeared to be her boyfriend to come to her job, then shared a meal while she was working, and her guest acted aggressive toward a patron. We won’t eat at Frank’s again because of the poor quality control. The flu is at an all time high, most of the patron’s are elderly, and ignoring property food handling could make an elderly person ill, or worse.

this place is ridiculous. used to be able to come here anytime of day or night and get parking, even if it was out back. well, they don’t have the dirt lot anymore and now they’ve started charging to park in the paved lot, some old timer with a clipboard came around knocking on the door. anything over 1 hr you have to pay. he said they’ve been charging for over a year, but I know I’ve stayed here a few times in the last year and have never been charged before. the store is poorly stocked imo, showers are a joke, haven’t been updated in half a century and the restaurant hours are 6am-8pm. at least they open reasonably early. if the place was nice and not a borderline dumpster fire, I wouldn’t care. I’m happy to pay if I could get a shower with it or if the place was nicer and had a better store

Our food was amazing. There was a bit of a wait, but the food arrived hot and fresh. We had an issue with one item that was addressed quickly and with a smile!

My husband and I stopped here while waiting on our next loaded he got eggs sausage grits and pancakes. I got the fish and shrimp combo. I was absolutely amazed at the flavor. I had actually got to the point that I thought it was against the law to have flavor to our food at a truck stop. This place has now shown me we are allowed to have flavor. The staff was amazing. I would give the place more stars if I could.
