We stopped in on our way back from a day at DuPont Rec. Area for a soda, pretzel with cheese dip and 2 hotdogs. Being the only customers there at the time when we ordered you might expect the Hotdogs to be hot right?? Mine was cold, wonder if it had ever been cooked. My girlfriend’s was barely warm. Was it worth $20.00??? No! Will i ever go back??? No!!

This place is awesome! It’s a great cool little spot to stop at and rest after hitting the trails at DuPont. They have cold beer great food and ice cream in almost any flavor you can think of. You can also relax with a cold one while you play an assortment of board games they offer.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a relaxing fun visit today after going up to Triple Falls. We had a Chocolate mint and Strawberry milkshake and our sweet boy had a pup cup.
The milkshakes are sooo delicious and fresh. We will definitely be back.

Awesome place! I was on my way to hike the waterfalls when I saw sign for the ice cream shop! I decided to check it out and it was the best decision! Lots of delicious ice cream flavors, but most importantly, super friendly owner! They also have some food and drink/alcohol! This is perfect for grabbing some refreshments after a hike to the falls just down the road!

One of our crew suggested this place as a rest stop after shooting footage of waterfalls. It’s easy to find and attractive to see. A good variety of food, but no grille, but the all beef hot dogs were very tasty. Excellent parking. Wish they’d open earlier in the day. We will return the next time in the area.

We love this spot & will return every time we visit the area! The owners are so nice & friendly! With 3 young kids who need ice cream after their biking adventures, we discovered this place last year soon after they opened. They have yummy food, beer & the best ice cream & toppings ever! Our kids said it was their favorite part of the vacation :)!

This place was the perfect stop for lunch after checking out Triple Falls!! Their Spanish Sauce (hotdog chili) is REALLY good both on a hotdog and the walking taco. Nice quiet little spot to refuel and have a beer. Oh, the candied jalapeños are really good too! Nice little kick.

The DuPont Canteen is a great stopping spot. My wife and I had just finished enjoying our hike to Hooker Falls and stopped here for lunch. Great food and ice cream. The Proprietor is most helpful in serving his customers and making sure they have a great experience here. He is a member of the nearby Cedar Mountain Fire Department. What a treat!
