I just had one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had, and it was all thanks to our incredible waitress. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm, genuine smile that instantly made us feel welcome. Her positive energy truly set the tone for the entire meal.
She was attentive without being intrusive, always appearing at just the right moment to refill drinks, check on our food, or answer questions. She gave thoughtful recommendations and it was impossible not to be excited about our choices. I have been to The Hive before 4 years ago and never stopped thinking about it, for my birthday I finally decided to make the drive and it was well worth it! Even though the restaurant was busy, she handled everything with grace and professionalism. She stayed calm, organized, and friendly the entire time. It’s rare to find someone who balances efficiency with such a personal touch, but she did it effortlessly. I will most definitely be back again soon.

I’m an Atl native and this was my first time here with a fav (who isn’t from the Atl). We went because she said she liked it when she visited. Mmm, the service was good because our server was cool and had great customer service. Drinks were good. Food was very sub-par for the price. My steak was chewy and I didn’t like the wooden plate with the rigged knife. My fries were fresh so they get an A+ for those, but I was expecting more. It was a cool vibe.

Great experience at The Hive Buckhead! Neera was an excellent waitress—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. I loved the whiting fish and cheese grits, and they even made my mimosa with apple juice (which I prefer). The “She’s a Keeper” cocktail with champagne, vodka, strawberry purée, and triple sec was refreshing and delicious. The atmosphere is stylish and welcoming, and I love supporting a Black-owned and operated business. I’ll definitely be back!

My friends and I visited for brunch on Saturday at 1pm to celebrate a birthday. First off, the parking area was tight and in true Atlanta form, parking was $20. We were greeted and seated as soon as we arrived. It wasn’t very busy, which was good for me, as I was ready to eat. The menu had a nice variety of brunch options. The prices averaged about $25 a plate. I ordered the salmon and grits, one of my friends ordered catfish and grits and the other ordered wings and fries. My plate was good but my salmon was overcooked, which made it a little dry. The sauce helped with that but I’m not a fan of dry salmon. My friends catfished, which was shared with me, was good. It was well seasoned and crispy but not overcooked. Not sure how my friend’s wings were, she didn’t say. The service was good. I feel like the server may have been a little overwhelmed, as we had a large party but she did a good job overall. I would visit again.

Let’s start with the walk in from the back parking lot where we weren’t even sure if this was the correct entrance because the glass door was so dirty I thought I had glaucoma. The venue and atmosphere definitely didnt match up with the prices. My assumption is the $35 canned lobster and not-so-lump crab panini is priced that way because it’s Buckhead. There wasn’t one lump and I’m pretty sure there was probably tuna as a filler. The sweet potato fries were so dry that they were inedible even if they called them potato chips. I also watched the bartender make my espresso martini twice because the first time he totally missed the espresso. They clearly over staffed because there were more employees just standing around in huddled than there were customers. My fiance ordered the catfish and grits and the grits left much to be desired in terms of flavor. I didnt taste his fish but he said he’s made better at home. Oh….the waitress Ashley was fine. She wasn’t anything to write home about, but I had no complaints. She said to leave her a review, she didnt care what it said, as long as her name was in it. Here you go, Ashley. Also see photos of the men’s restroom with missing tiles, no paper towels, and unkempt floor.

The food was good especially the salmon bites we ended up ordering three orders of those. I had the cat fish and grits and really enjoyed my food. My girlfriend I believe she had the salmon and grits???? I just know my food was delicious and will be back when we visit ATL again. I stopped in this spot for a solo breakfast on Sunday. Food was fabulous. I had rhe salmon and grits superb…and portion size was large. My server/bartender Nikki was amazing and makes a great Twilight Zone. The atmosphere give me a grown and se”y vibe. My only issue was the fee for parking…. but there are other options . If you are visiting ATL or live there this is a MUST stop !!
