From the minute I walked in I could tell this was going to be an awesome stop. Sarah’s attentive yet not intrusive attention was great and I followed her suggestions to end up with a crab cake and shrimp etouffe. Hands down this is the best Cajun food I have had outside New Orleans and I can honestly say that Fontenot’s has a slight edge over the big easy. Fantastic food and service , you will not be disappointed.

A great hole in the wall restaurant for Cajun food as far north as it is. The service was fantastic and everyone in the restaurant said that all the food was great. And it was. I had the Cajun crab burger and the nachos and man was it good. I had the Beignets for dessert. Well worth the time and money to stop by.

Super legit Cajun food in north LA. Extremely nice and attentive staff and food is FANTASTIC. Crawfish nachos with etouffe and homemade chips. Grilled shrimp salad is finely chopped and no dressing needed full of flavor. My authentic Cajun Wife approves 2 thumbs up
