My partner and I dined in spontaneously while exploring the area, and what a wonderful hole-in-the-wall local restaurant to find! The food was made fresh and accommodated our dietary restrictions while still being beyond delicious. The staff were incredibly welcoming, offered menu suggestions, and were even so kind as to offer us tastes of other menu items aside from our ordered entrees (Loukanico & Dolmathes 10/10!). Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great and filling meal. Thanks for the fantastic service, we had an awesome experience eating at Evia and can’t wait to be back!

I ordered through GrubHub and the delivery was timely and great. Sadly the food was not. I ordered a baguette sandwich and the bread/roll was so stale it was brick hard and inedible. Whomever assembled the sandwich had to have known and used it anyway. I also received Greek fries without the feta, but I could at least eat those. I called the store and spoke to a lovely man who apologized, and then said only Chris coukd handle any refund or resolution. I actually hit the nread on the edge of a table so he could hear how hard it was.He took my name and number and said Chris would call. No call has come. I ordered fairly frequently from there, but things have clearly changed in terms of quality and customer service. Very disappointing, but won’t waste my money there again.

We ordered takeout so atmosphere isn’t relevant although I would not want to dine in bc doesn’t look comfortable. The food however was wonderful and good value. We had lamb shank w/lemon potatoes+green beans-cooked to perfection-they even gave us extra sauce which we totally used. It’s hard to find meat-filled grape leaves-theirs were perfect w/yogurt sauce!
We will definitely order takeout again! Such a Greek gem!

A huge waste of $40. Unfortunately, the food handling was extremely unsanitary, and I should have trusted my instincts when I first noticed that the person preparing the food was visibly covered in old food stains.
After placing my order, I observed him coughing, touching his face, removing his cap to rub his head, and answering the phone while wearing food service gloves. At no point did I see him wash or change his gloves.
I initially ordered the moussaka, which exploded in the microwave, yet they still attempted to serve it to me. I was not offered napkins or cutlery and had to ask for them. I then switched my order to a falafel wrap. Both were ready in under 5 minutes meaning that the wrap and the fries were heavily soaked in oil and undercooked. Everything was sloppily prepared, which made it completely unappetizing.
I took the remainder of the food to go and ultimately threw it all away. This was my first time here and I will never be back! The owners of this establishment should be aware that this is how their guests are currently being served.

Excellent lamb Gyro Americano! Moussaka is the best my wife ever tasted.. Creamy and super flavorful… authenticly homemade by the owners wife. Efficient pleasant and accommodating customer service. Highly recommend a visit. Well worth the trip!

A huge waste of $40. Unsanitary food handling!!! The gentleman preparing the food was completely covered in old food stains. I should’ve trusted my gut because after I placed my order and paid, while preparing the food he was touching his face, hair, coughing and answering the phone with food service gloves. I did not see him wash his hand once.
My Moussaka “blow up” in the microwave and they tried to serve it to me. I ordered a falafel wrap instead which was ready in under 5 min… the falafel and fries were undercooked and soaked in oil. The entire experience was unappetizing. I took the rest of my food, the dessert that I order and my husband Gyro and just threw it all away. The owners are should be aware of this poor service.

Best gyro in Pittsburgh in my opinion. Only other one that I’d same comes close is Mike & Tony’s.
The workers (and owner?) are so nice and welcoming! The food is fantastic and it’s a cute little restaurant. If you’re a Bellevue local you already know about this place, but if you’re passing through I’d highly recommend getting a gyro to go!
Also the Greek fries are delicious if you like feta cheese.
NOTE: I wouldn’t recommend the spicy onions on the gyro. They were good but I think it’s better as original.

Affordable, authentic Greek cuisine. I ordered the lamb gyro with extra sauce and small Greek fries. Excellent customer service, nice welcoming people.

Open the door at EVIA and you will be greeted with the most amazing aroma of Greek specialties…the restaurant is tiny, just a few tables for dine-in and was super-charming.
The meals were delicious:
*Dolmathes, or stuffed grape leaves, with lemon to start, just enough to share as an appetizer and perfectly seasoned.
*Pork Yeero Americana was extremely flavorful and delicious
* Moussaka, or Greek vegetable casserole with beef, was hearty with well seasoned beef. The salad served with it was so large, it could be shared; salad dressing was housemade, light and flavorful.
*Green tea, in a can, imported from Greece added to the Greek feel…photos of all are posted.
Clean plate and no room for dessert!
HIGHLY recommend and will return.

Actually pissed…ordered a side of falafel (3 piece for $6) and a gyro. Picked it up 15 minutes later and drove home (5 minutes). Dig in and grab a falafel ball and instantly know they are over cooked. I had to actually use a bit of muscle to break it open. Get my gyro out and once again can instantly tell it’s overcooked by the look of the blackened tips (i actually like my food cooked a little longer). While the flavor of the meat was good it was a hassle trying to chew it. I think dude got my order started cooking it and forgot to check on it. You know when the food you cook EVERY SINGLE DAY isn’t servable to your customers. I would have waited a little longer to get food I could actually chew.
Why don’t people understand we spend the money we work for day after day and don’t want to be given a shortcut on the things we buy especially when we patronize small businesses. These falafel balls are laughable the way they sound when you drop them on a hard surface. I’m super greedy hungry so I even tried to peel off the hard outter layer of the ball lol and that didnt work. The recipes are excellent but the execution is terrible I’ll stick with Hanadis
When you look at my gyro you may think that dark thing is purple cabbage or lettuce but it’s the meat.
