Ordered the lunch special, take out. Was looking forward to it. The guy at the register was nice and when I called he was pleasant and explained what was and wasn’t part of the lunch special. In any case food was not bad, but not the best either. The naan was delicious. The portion sizes were pretty disappointing. I suppose if you eat in you will receive much larger portions. The dessert will literally laughably, you will see in the pics, it is served in a sauce on the side container.

I had a truly positive experience. This place will see me as a returning customer. The food preparation and staff attentiveness were excellent. Their cooking produces great results. Yes it’s pricey, but worth it.

Great option if you craving for Indo-Nepalese flavor. We tried out the daal ,Mutter Paneer and Butter Chicken and all of them turned out to be delicious .
There is option to carry out and eat in too .Most of the people were doing carry out but we preferred to eat out there .
Simple and fresh food at a decent price .

I’ve been hungry for these flavors without the long commute. The team members listen attentively. You’ll find fair prices and good cooking here. They create harmonious yet surprising flavors. The food is great and the price is right — what more could you ask for?

This was our go to spot during the pandemic (because it was delicious and we could sit outside to enjoy it)! We came back for lunch and it was as tasty as we remembered!! The ambience is a bit of a dive BUT the service and the mouthwatering food is well worth it!! If you’re on the UWS, you gotta go!! And, did I mention, they’re halal!!!

The butter chicken was so disgustingly sweet, it was like a dessert dish. I’ve had butter chickens at restaurants around the world, and this is by far the worst. This dish should NOT be sweet! The palak paneer was quite good, and the dal makhani was alright although would have preferred more flavor. None of the dishes were hot, mildest of mild is the default it seems, which is fine by me but just FYI.

The whole concept here works without trying too hard. I couldn’t believe my taste buds. The workers demonstrate remarkable hospitality. Their portion control favors the customer. I anticipate returning to this place soon.

Got the lunch special. It is more than sufficient for 1 person. The complimentary dessert was a major plus in my book
The food was fresh and tasty. Flavors are very authentic.
Staff was very polite and helpful.
Got the takeout but will do dine in next time.

I love eating at this place. The soft, buttery naan went well with chicken curry. The chicken kathi roll was delicious, and I really liked the chicken chowmein, which was a mix of indo-chinese flavors and the mango lassi with its creamy sweetness was definitely worth tasting.
