If you’re in Evergreen and craving incredible seafood, Bait Shack is an absolute must.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming — the kind of place where strangers feel like locals. You can tell it’s a true community spot.
The food? Five stars, hands down. Honestly, it rivals East Coast seafood. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. And the hush puppies… to die for. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside — I’m still thinking about them!
Boomer (the owner) and Krystal went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their kindness and hospitality made the whole experience even better.
We’ll absolutely be back. Evergreen is lucky to have this gem!

My friend and i stopped in for a bite and a drink. Crystal (with a C) was absolutely fantastic!!! She was so welcoming, absolutely hilarious and truly made our experience 10/10. Highly recommend if you want a good conversation and laughs, good drinks and food.

This place is the one we go to for the best fish sandwich in the Denver evergreen area! With a very pleasant atmosphere and wonderful people waiting on us! This is a great experience! They have the crab cakes or the tacos that are fully loaded!

This little gem of a pub punches so far above its cozy-sized weight. Excellent food (try the catfish bites!). Exceptional service (tip your bar tender). Friendly atmosphere (feels like a home away from home).

Limited selection of bar food and with an emphasis on seafare. Not a lot of seating but with an outdoor deck over looking the highway. Not a lot of parking but from that deck you can watch a lot of cars circling. The waitress was very accommodating and attentive. We will probably go back.

Krystal is amazing!! She is so lovely and you can tell how much she cares about the people who come in. The drinks are delicious and the environment is friendly. We will absolutely be coming back!!!

Love the Bait Shack. Great little local spot to grab a beer and a bite. I would highly recommend the fish sandwich. The wings are good too. Be a little patient if they’re busy as employees are tough to come by right now. The location is fabulous when the weather is nice, right in the heart of downtown. If you’re lucky, you may even get to see an elk traffic jam!

If you aren’t from around here, DEFINITELY GO HERE. A great afternoon away from the kids and simply a great place to hang out. Best bartending by TORI I’ve seen in years. Last place I was well served drinks at was in Orlando for my brother’s bachelor party. The staff is very professional and will work with you if you have no idea what you want to drink or eat; they will help you out in any way they can.
