Visited El Taco Bar in Lake Elsinore yesterday afternoon 1/9/26 for lunch and was seriously impressed. The service was great—friendly, welcoming, and fast. We ordered the birria tacos, a crunchy shredded beef taco, and a carne asada taco. The food came out quickly and was incredibly fresh. The meat portions were generous, perfectly cooked, and packed with amazing, authentic flavor. Every bite was satisfying. This place is a gem, and we’ll definitely be making it a weekly stop!

I live in Lake Elsinore this is my favorite spot for tacos and burritos l. I specifically love their surf and turf menu but everything I’ve tried from this spot is good including the birria! My adult sons love their here as well! It’s clean and nothing smelled bad like other reviews mentioned. The staff is knowledgeable and food is served quick fresh you can see them making the it!

It was our 1st time there. U walk in and it smelled of sewage… but it didn’t detour us. Everything looked amazing. The waitress was so helpful. Plenty of seating. Food was soo good. Fresh not dry. We will definitely go back.

The food is closer to “real food”
They aren’t just slapping it together from a frozen container. They are sincerely cooking it.
The meat is tasty. The tortillas fresh and good.
This is my second time here.
It’s not cheap food.
It’s cooked fresh and it’s good.
I’ll be back soon.
They give more red & green sauce if you ask.
I received 2 of each without asking.
I bought the pico de gallo on my first visit.
I was a bit huh? When I saw it was more then I thought. That changed when I saw it was also MORE than I thought. They give you a little tub of it. Not just a little cup. It’s worth the price.
They are kind & friendly which is saying a lot Because I’m still learning and trying new food items. I super like the crunchy birria tacos.
Their food is good. It’s usually busy too. You know it’s not sitting in the back somewhere unseen. They are cooking it and serving it fresh. I’ll be back!!

El Taco Bar is amazing! The surf and turf tacos and the muletas are absolutely delicious, made with fresh handmade tortillas that really make a difference. The flavors are on point, and the customer service is great—friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this spot!

When you open the door to a restaurant, it should not smell like sewage. I went in anyway because Lake Elsinore desperately needs owner-operated restaurants; what exists here is deplorable. I was hoping. The bathroom also smelled like sewage. This has been mentioned before in reviews. The first thing that needs to happen is that we do not smell like sewage where we are preparing food. Especially if we are selling it. Can the management please address this issue? Seriously, guys.

Amazing customer service. Great music and vibe. Even had my wife shaking her hips in the chair . I appreciated the Latina behind the counter providing detailed explanation of food being served and ingredients. She knows her shit I will definitely be back. Taco enchilado spicy but delicious. You really can’t go wrong with any of the craft tacos.

The food is really good but the girls that stand at the front cash register have a whole lot of attitude. They always close early. If you arrive 50 minutes before they close at like 9:10 9:20 p.m. they look at you like you just walked into their living room and asked you to cook you dinner. If you don’t want customers then close early change the hours online It’s that simple. So when you go make sure that if you go at 9:10 or 9:20 you only get it to go order and I was told I’m not allowed to eat in the restaurant. Ridiculous.
