Updated 11/05/2025 – I tried the Ba Vị and it was super tasty. My girlfriend and I couldn’t finish it and packed the rest home. It is so goodd and I recommend you try this!
Love their food here! 100% Viet authenticity! Always love their porkchop w rice and their noodles dishes are tasty! Great variety of appetizers as well as desert.

Haven’t been here since COVID, but it used to be one of my favorite spots for Vietnamese food.
From their rice noodles, which were slightly different from traditional Pho, to their Bahn mi, and Vermicelli bowls.
The service has always been meh, and they can never get the temperature right regardless of the season, and it can get very cramped, but the food is good.
Really can’t wait to return post COVID era.

One of the best places to get Vietnamese food I the city. Unless Google has fixed it, they close at 6PM, not 6:30PM as suggested by Google maps. Not overly thrilled with the grilled meatball…. that was more like a hot dog (tasted like one, too). Everything else was excellent & the prices are much less than other places in center city or the burbs. Worth the trip.

This place has been around for so long. Their banh mi’s usually sell out mid day, I love their beef stew ho fun and the beef wrapped with grape leaf appetizer. Their banh cuon is also delicious.

I drive 25 minutes from Fishtown to go to this place. It is by far the best Vietnamese food Ive had in Philly and even Chinatown. It’s so affordable and so authentic and fresh. Cant recommend this place enough. The staff is great, the place is clean, the service is good. Drive from wherever you live to eat here!

Great little mom and pop shop for Vietnamese food. They have a wide variety on their menu, very authentic.
Their banh mi’s are good, just ask for extra everything because they do skimp

When I ordered from this place, the cashier told me the total came out to be $65 but when I asked for the receipt, it showed $53 for cash and $55 for card. He had only given me back the correct change after I had checked the receipt. If you choose to buy food from them, be careful of the price and make sure to ask for the receipt because they might not always be honest with it.

Typical cafe casual Vietnamese spot. Solid 4 stars foods for southern dishes (bánh cuốn southern style was yummy, bánh mì special was great, etc). I made a mistake ordering a northern dish (Bun cha Hanoi) and totally regretted it since it was like someone who has never tasted the authentic dish tried their best to recreate it.
Highly recommend if you come here for southern dishes, but no no on northern dishes.
I ended up buying a bunch of other Knick knacks to bring home like cha lua, bánh bao and they all tasted great.

This is the best mom and pop Vietnamese food for such an affordable price. I’m here every Saturday and the food never disappoints. The consistency is so on point and so important to their success.
