Here’s 2 US was a fun Bar and grill with a hometown atmosphere. They don’t have an alcoholic drink menu ,but the bartender can create or make anything you want. Since we were there for drinks we only ordered some tacos and wings. To my surprise they were well cooked and served. After eating and a few drinks we shot some pool . I enjoyed coming here. I will definitely pay Here’s to US a visit again .

Great lil dive bar with amazing food! Drinks were poured well and food was fantastic. Brisket burrito and wings were great! They were poured well and served ice cold. Wide variety of atmosphere and music but overall a good time.

Background: My wife and I had a rare night out alone. After dropping our teenage boy off an hour from home to attend a friend’s party, we decided to find a place to eat. We found an online menu and a promise of beers on tap that looked so good we drove an extra 30 minutes out of our way to eat here.

When we arrived, we were promptly and cheerfully welcomed by a friendly bartender named Ashley. Through the night it became apparently that the place was obviously short-staffed and she was clearly overworked, but she was consistently pleasant, attentive, and, unless she secretly owns or manages the place, overly apologetic. Ashley was a shining point in our visit. Please understand that any complaints here, (unless she secretly owns or manages the place) are not directed at her.

Confusion quickly kicked in as we saw no taps and the menu placed on the tables was not what we found online. We quickly re-checked our map and internet findings, which seemed to indicate we were at the right place. Ashley sensed our confusion and we showed her the menu and description of the place we found online. She explained that what we found was an old menu and that the taps had gone away during the covid lockdowns. Note to owner(s): It’s 2022. Get a website and keep your FB page updated. Put better descriptions of what you’re serving on the menu. Manage expectations!

The decor was typical upscale country town dive bar. Not necessarily a bad thing, but the family atmosphere touted by others isn’t what I would agree with considering the filthy rap music playing on the jukebox and the napkin messages” hanging on the old spring mattress on the wall that covered topics including hopes of getting laid to full on admonition to “eat @ss, suck d!ck, and sell drugs.”

The good:

The stuffed peppers were great despite the undocumented surprise of sweet syrup with which they were brushed. Had it been on the menu, I would have simply requested “no syrup,” but it wasn’t a deal killer. I nearly ordered a second plate!

My wife loved the “Brisket Spud.”

The OK:

The onion rings. Crispy and hot, but under-seasoned.
“Tator crisp” – overcooked thin potato slices. Think fat potato chips, but not in a good way.

The bad:

The “Mouthful Burger” – I ordered it without BBQ sauce and it came with BBQ sauce. The patty was over-worked and over-seasoned to the point that it was reminiscent of sausage. I ate the onion ring and two stuffed peppers off of it, pushed the bbq-sauced brisket to the side, then asked for pickles, onion, mayo, and mustard to try and hide the BBQ sauce and sausage flavors. It didn’t work and I only able to choke down about 1/4 of the sandwich before calling it quits.

The beer selection. Just about any thin yellow watery domestic lager you might want. To their credit, they did have Guinness and a New Belgium Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA. When I asked for glass to pour the Voodoo Ranger into, I was offered a plastic cup.

I hope the place was just having an off night. I would love to see them return to what appeared to be a better menu along with beer on tap. We’re not writing the place off, but if we are ever in the area again and we walk in to the same setup that we got Sunday night, we’ll leave and go to the Thai place next door.

Side note on the photo of the menu I am posting. When I told Ashley we would be leaving a review along with pics of the correct menu, she stated that the menu would be changing again soon. So please double-check if you’re hoping for whatever is on this menu before showing up.

Good prices, great service (nice people), and delicious loaded fries. The wings were not good though. They needed to be cooked longer/crispier.

We got into town pretty late on a Sunday night having never travelled to Sulphur Springs before. The lady behind the bar was super lovely and accommodating, particularly with our 18 month old son who was keen to run around after being cooped up in a car all day. She also gave us recommendations of good spots to stay in the town too. The place had great food, a lovely vibe and I would definitely recommend.

Also, very inclusive all gendered bathrooms. Just a good vibe.

The wing flavors are very interesting. We got a variety and it was great tasting them all. Very good. Also had the buffalo chicken lemon pepper french fries which were good.
Great place would recommend. We were just driving through the area otherwise i would go back.

Stopped on the way during a road trip and then again two days later. The bartender scammed me. Be careful and review your bill. The bartender added 3 tacos to my order and when I asked about it she lied and said that that’s how they split drinks prices and that’s what it is. It was our first time there so I thought that its weird but went with it. I didn’t expect to have the bartender lie straight to my face. On our way back from trip we stopped again and guess what, this time the bill for a drink was regular as it supposed to be and there was no ‘splitting the price’. Worst place I ever been to.
