Fantastic experience at Thai Basement. The food was absolutely amazing , full of flavour and very generous serving sizes. Great value for money and the service was friendly and attentive throughout. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend! Will be a regular!

Absolutely impressed!! Thai basement is a hidden gem, The food just bursts with different flavors, every dish I had was fresh, perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. Would not recommend. Honey chicken was boiled, batter no flavour. Boiled beef for stir fry with no chilli sauce. Frozen vegetables in fried rice. Very disappointing.

Takeaway Lunch, 16th Nov ’25 – this is new for me and has never happened before…….. tomato sauce with Samosa Entree.
I really hope this was a genuine mistake, and not deliberate.
Sweet chilli sauce always.
Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the main course, Green Chicken Curry Hot. Thai hot would be better of course ☺️

Very disappointed. Had a dinner on new year’s eve, travelled from brissy, big fan of thai food but unfortunately chef use cooking cream in curries instead of coconut cream, totally opposite of thai cuisine.

The food was hot , flavours (sauces) were average it’s right on the line of acceptable for a bloke who’s finished work late and wants some quick and cheap takeaway.

Waitress is super dizzy and doesn’t know what she does. The Tom yam soup is super disappointing. First Thai food after two months of Thailand and I’ve never been so disappointed. The soup is just made out of a package and it tastes horrible. There is no lemongrass inside it and it’s just the worst Thai food I’ve been to.
