We were greeted upon our arrival. The hostess did a quick rundown of how the ordering process worked which was slightly confusing as this was our first time here. There are not typical waitresses as you order from a QR code and food is just brought to you. The menu is somewhat limited. Our food was prepared very quickly. We ordered appetizers which came out after the food but to be fair, we were told that could happen. The food was delicious. There is an excellent selection of tap beers but limited soda options. If you are getting anything on tap, it is on a separate tab than your food.

This is my first time at this establishment and first impressions were very good. It is more of a self-serve place for the vast array of different types of beers and ales. You build a drink tab woth your credit/debit card when you enter the place and your tab is put onto a key fob card that is issued to you. You scan a QR code at your table which prompts their website with the food menu and also keeps track of your drinks tab. This type of system can be very confusing to newcomers but do not be afraid to ask the staff on how their system works. The food is pretty decent. I had a spicy pickle flatbread with bacon and a cheese curd flight with a few different varieties of deep fried cheese curds. I will definitely come back this summer when they have their open patio available. I give it 5 stars!

My friends and I come here probably every weekend or every other weekend. We always have a great time. Food and drinks are always amazing!

Last night Doug made us our espresso martini flight and it was so good! He’s always such a fun guy to have bring us our drinks when we’re there.

I always recommend people stop in and experience it’

Absolutely phenomenal experience at The Phoenix Taproom & Kitchen! From the moment you walk in, the vibe just hits. The decor is bold, thoughtful, and full of character. It feels lived in, intentional, and alive. There’s a real sense of creativity here, like a place that knows exactly who it is and leans all the way into it. But the real magic is the people. Jessica, Doug, and Ashley were next level incredible. Warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited about what they do. Not the forced kind of friendly, but the kind that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first visit. Service like that is rare, and it elevates everything. Now let’s talk food, because wow. You absolutely have to try the spicy pickle flatbread. It is wildly unique in the best possible way. Spicy and sweet with an unexpected depth of flavor, and the cheese brings it all together with a richness that somehow doesn’t overpower anything. Every bite works. It’s bold, balanced, and honestly addictive. It also pairs beautifully with just about any drink on the menu, which feels intentional and well thought out. This place isn’t just good. It’s memorable. The atmosphere, the service, the creativity, the flavors. It all comes together into something special. If you’re looking for a spot with personality, heart, and food that actually surprises you, this is it.

I’ll be back. Soon. And hungry… Trying the Nachos next!

An incredible beer selection (and I like the self-serve taps where you pour by the ounce because you can get exactly what and how much you want); great food; beautiful view by the river; and helpful staff. It was my birthday, and they were extra kind to me. Thanks for making my day extra special!

Really enjoyed it here!

Reminds me of taking my nieces to Pinkberry, self service adds up fast

But it’s a great experience and lots of fun to try a small amount of many different beers. Like a flight but better!

Food was excellent and we will definitely be back to try more

We reserved an Igloo to celebrate a friend’s birthday so we had no idea what to expect…
Full disclosure it was different and we fully enjoyed every minute of it!!! The wait staff was so incredibly helpful with the menu and the drink. We happened to go while they had their holiday drink specials yet so we took full advantage of it!
“We Got Sleighed” and it was great!
The igloo could use a much larger heater but its Wisconsin we knew what we were getting into The wait staff was so wonderful having to continually bring us drinks out in the freezing cold as well.
I loved being able to order off your phone for food and drinks.
Overall great experience
Came from an hour north but we will be back.

We loved our first experience at the Phoenix taproom. We did not dine there but sampled many of the drinks that were on tap.

We loved that you were charged by how much you poured in your cup. We discovered som new beers and seltzers that we enjoyed.

Loved our night at the The Phoenix! Great beer selection for all, but an even better craft cocktail menu! Doug the bartender killed it on all of our cocktails – you must try an espresso martini flight, including the peanut butter tequila one! 5 stars. Food is great – comes out warm made to order. We can’t wait for warmer days to try out the patio on the water!

This was a lot of fun because it was a new type of drinking experience. It’s a self service beer tap, where you pay by the ounce, 1 oz at a time. Ranges from $0.86 per ounce, to $1+ per ounce. But you can try them all if you want. The food was delicious (especially the pancake cheese curds with maple syrup!!!) we had two different kinds of flatbread pizza, boneless wings, pancake battered cheese curds, and the Bavarian pretzel. Everything was delicious, my ONLY dislike was the pretzel had too much garlic and the cheese sauce wasn’t very good. The kitchen offerings are pretty limited (you are not getting a steak here, not a burger) But overall this place is incredible!!
