My granddaughter and I found this place “by chance”. We met owner “Chubbs” who was very personable. It was nice to walk into an establishment and hear Christian music playing. It was a nice change from what is normally heard.
We had the smashed potatoes that had Mac and chz, jalepeños, baked beans and pulled pork in it. My granddaughter enjoyed her meal. I had the pulled pork. There were different types of BBQ sauce and I tried them all and liked all of them but I liked the spicey one more. The flavor of all the food was very good. The only negative thing I can say about MY food was the pulled pork meat could have been a little more temperature hot. (It’s not necessarily a bad thing bc I just prefer my food piping hot) The French fries were piping hot which I love and cooked perfectly. I will go back whenever I’m back in Lincoln.

Barbecue with a Cajun flair. I wanted the salad (Muck it up) but they didn’t have any so I had the barbecue sundae. Imagine a good size dish layered with beans, mac and cheese, pulled pork and topped with coleslaw. Delicious! Atmosphere was not pretentious a little on the eclectic side. Totally come as you are. Drinks are all bottled including water. Don’t miss it!!!

Restaurant staff are super nice and helpful. Food is edible, but drowning in sauce. I’d rather adjust the amount of BBQ sauce myself. Also the meat wasn’t all that tender and didn’t really have a smoky flavor. Probably the reason for drowning the meat in a very sweet sauce. The corn and Mac and cheese were really well done and great. Baked Beans had the same problem as the burnt ends. Way too much of the same super sweet BBQ sauce.

Waited almost an hour after our food was supposed to be ready, got told almost all of the things we ordered were not available, and our sides were subbed with freezer fries that were not even very good. Paid 17 bucks for a single dry crusty piece of catfish. Cook in the kitchen was being petty and argumentative, and overall seemed unprofessional. I love the location and vibes but it seems there are a lot of problems that need to be addressed. Would love to give yall another chance sometime in the future.

What an amazing addition to Havelock! The food was great, the space was so inviting and clean, and the service was awesome. They have rotating daily specials, so I got the wings today in 3 different sauces: Jamaican jerk, honey butter garlic, and Nashville heat. The homemade BBQ sauces were so tasty, too, with my favorite being the Carolina and spicy ones. I can’t wait to return and sit out at their patio where they have occasional shows (musicians, comedians, etc).

SoulFULL Cocina has a great atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly and they make you feel very comfortable. We spent a little over $50 for sodas and food for 2 adults and 2 kids (kids shared ribs and sides combo) and tip. They also have alcoholic beverages for those interested. The catfish and pulled pork sandwich were our favorite with the coleslaw really pulling it together. The BBQ sauces were very tasty, especially the spicy one. We will be back to try the chicken options they have and recommend others to give them a try!

Came at 12:30 hoping no difficulty getting a sit down lunch for 3 & there were only 2 people already eating there. As we tried to order, we were told ribs weren’t available, dill corn salad wasn’t available, & when we did decide, the 2 piece dark BBQ chicken wasn’t available either. While we waited we had to keep our coats on because it was so cold in there. We were also watching while 4 people ordered for takeout in the 45 minutes before we received our food. Service was friendly, but never told us it would take that long. Food was great but the wait, lack of choices, and extreme temperature will probably mean it will be summer before I try it again OR only use their takeout service.

Soulfull Cocina is absolutely amazing! I had the ribs with mac n’ cheese, and it was some of the best BBQ I’ve ever tasted. The ribs were perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and falling right off the bone. The mac n’ cheese was creamy, cheesy, and the perfect comfort food side. Everything tasted homemade and full of love. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. If you’re craving delicious BBQ, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!

My fiancé and I went here for the first time tonight and it was an overall great experience! A warm, welcoming environment and incredible food! I had the BBQ Sundae and he ordered the Smashed Potato. (He enjoyed it so much he ordered a second one and definitely ‘smashed’ them both!) We will definitely be back!

In town on business stopped here by a recommendation from a local. Couldn’t decide what to order so I went with the wing special on Wednesday and the tri-tip. Best wings I’ve ever had. Tri-tip was perfect. Little joint ran by a young family, would definitely eat here again next time I’m in town.
