One of the best Chinese restaurants ever in Greenfield, MA! Opened on December 5, 1976, this place has been serving fresh ingredients and amazing flavors for decades. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by and grab something to-go. Just a heads-up—they no longer offer dine-in service due to staffing, but the takeout is well worth it!

Huge fan of their pork fried rice but the last few weeks I tried to call and place an order no one answered the phone. The restaurant looks closed aswel and I’ve driven by a few times during the times they’re usually open. I hope they reopen soon or update their Facebook page if they’re closing.

Had a bad experience the first time we tried this place but suspected it may have been a one-time encounter the first time we had to throw the food away because it smelled bad and tasted funny as though the meat had gone bad. Tonight we ordered three poo poo platters and got no chicken fingers all shrimp. They never gave us our lo mein pred and overall the meal was very lackluster will not be wasting our money again. We called our meal in at 5:15 and arrived to pick it up at 6:30. Still have to wait an additional 30 minutes because the food was not ready

Shrimp with lobster sauce was so salty I couldn’t get past the second bite so I sent it back, no refire wanted even though they offered. My friend didn’t like his general Tso’s either, chicken looked grey and the sauce was cloudy. Got a side of fried shrimp that was very good. Got the bill and was charged for my meal shrimp with lobster sauce. I immediately questioned it because I literally ate two bites, including only one shrimp that was the size of a nickel from the sauce. The waitress said she asked the owner who said to charge for my dish I sent back. I explained I’d pay for the dish he didn’t like the flavor of, but I didn’t feel I should be charged for a dish I couldn’t eat. The owner then said I didn’t have to pay for mine. I was shocked, I said if I ate some of it I’d understand getting charged, but I ate two bites and sent it back. Terrible practices for a restaurant! Rice was yucky too, onions were practically raw still, one bite of that so three small bites of my entire plate. Over soy sauced by far. Waitress adjusted the bill to only charge us for the fried shrimp and soda. I still tipped her on what the full amount would have been because she did a good job. She apologized because she knew I shouldn’t be charged for my plate. Thank god we didn’t get food to go, wouldn’t have known until we got home 45 minutes away .

Worse Chinese food I have ever had!! Their chicken was definitely rancid and spoiled and I am hoping I don’t get sick off the one bite I had and then I dumped the rest right in the trash. I called to report the spoiled food and they offered to make me some more of thier rotten food! no refund offered and I will never order food from here again!!!

I don’t usually write terrible reviews unless I absolutely hate it and I did. I hated everything about this place. I will never eat here again. My family and I couldn’t even get through eating the broccoli, sweet and sour chicken and the noodles were greasy and just tasted stale. I spent $48 on food plus a $15 tip just to get get home and regret everything about it. Never Again!! BUT HEY, that’s just me! Try it for yourself. #justsayin

I’ve been eating here since 1985. It has always been my favorite Chinese restaurant, but not anymore. The last two takeout orders I got were deplorable. The fried shrimp and chicken fingers I ordered were an absolute scam! They took one shrimp, sliced 4 pieces off of it, breaded it multiple times to fluff it up and then fried it. The chicken fingers I ordered were the same thing. There was a toothpick sized piece of chicken coated in 3/4″ of tempura batter to make it appear it was a regular sized chicken finger. I understand that the prices of their supplies have increased, and so have their consumer prices. I’m understandably paying more, but for what? I don’t have an issue with paying current prices, but I definitely have an issue with paying 75% more for the same food I’m used to getting and getting less food and more fluff. Spending $60 to feed two people and then receiving insulting portions because of deceptive practices from the kitchen staff is inexcusable. I used to love this restaurant because I grew up eating here. I want to love it again, but I refuse to spend one more penny here until they start making great food again, or it goes out of business and someone else buys it to try again. I’m sorry the economy has you gouging customers, but at the very least, please make real food again!

I feel really bad about leaving this review but the restaurant should feel bad about what came out of the kitchen today for lunch. I was hoping to really enjoy this as I live right down the street now.
The host who took my to-go order was kind enough, and the food was somehow ready within 5 minutes? I ordered a lunch portion of orange chicken, add broccoli, with white rice. The latter two of which were edible! But the chicken… something was definitely very wrong with it. Unfortunately I believe what I was served had actually been pork that had been marinating in a salt brine for too long and had gone off; after eating a couple pieces I started picking them apart to find the insides grey, slimy, and in some areas still raw pink. Sickening.
I threw everything including the condiments right into the trash and took the bag to the dumpster immediately. I have had a mild stomach ache all afternoon but I don’t get sick so unfortunately I have to wait for it to pass. I should have known, the place was filthy inside and smelled strongly of mildew. If the reception and dining areas are uncleanly, the kitchen is always worse! I’m kicking myself for not walking out.

Worst Chinese food ever! Last minute decision as we got out of the vehicle you could see a man inside the restaurant sleeping in a booth. You walk in there are chairs blocking the entire restaurant. So you’re only allowed to order take out. Took about 10 mins just to order. The lady taking the order was maybe a few beers short of a 6 pack. Once the order was placed the sleeping man got up. I said to the lady “please tell me this guys not making the food?” She said he wasn’t. As he followed her into the kitchen.
Food was disgusting! dog food probably tastes better. Teriyaki didn’t even taste like beef. Tasted like a dirty kitchen floor. Crab Rangoon’s had no crab meat. And was soggy.
And! No fortune cookies!! I’m surprised I am no sick from eating that food.
