Jade Eatery restaurant, as the name implies, is literally a hidden gem, as it sits behind Port Washington Blvd. Upon entering one is struck by the trappings of the place. As one looks straight ahead their eyes become fixated on the ever large gold Budha overlooking a lit up fish pond. These embellishments create an aura different from most restaurants. Likewise, one is equally amazed at the quality, taste and presentation of the food. No less, is the service and the hospitality. The manager, Chris, goes out of his way to make sure that every meal is a memorable experience. Each week we look forward to the dining experience as we are never disappointed.

Our server Rudi was very helpful when we had questions about the menu. You can choose between the 3 course meal (appetizer, entree, dessert) for $48 per person or choose your own dishes to share among the whole table. He made sure we were satisfied with the food and the experience. In the end, he gave away several free desserts which were $10 each. I would recommend this restaurant to your friends, significant other, or your family.

I have to say the food was trash. What really threw me off were the fries, I don’t know why anyone makes them like this. They’re very tiny, thin, and crispy, doesn’t go with steak. We ordered appetizers and they were too chewy. The main dishes were meh. My steak had a weird aftertaste and the fries really disappointed. Only thing good is the drinks. I saw other people eating sushi. Otherwise, staff was tentative. Indian uncle at the front was also very nice and accommodating, he made the experience much better.

I came here for their brunch on Sunday. The food, the scenery, and service was emasculate. My waiter Rudi was very helpful, attentive, and polite. I would come here again for a dinner next time around. I recommend trying their Jade steak and eggs. It was to die for. Lol
