We stopped by for some good Mexican food and it did not disappoint! They even have pan dulce, which is a nice touch you don’t always find. We tried both the red and green chilaquiles—the red chilaquiles were good with a bit of spice, while the green ones were also delicious. The tlayudas are definitely worth ordering too. Overall, tasty food and a solid spot for authentic flavors!

Sadly, the cashier who always is in the morning chargebextra bread! WE NEED TO BE CAREFUL i bought 12 ojaldra and 5 mixed bread and on the screen where i pays with a debit card said 23 breads ahe have charged me 28 dollars, I know all is expensive now but why 23 breads, PEOPLE THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME SHE DO IT I MENTION TO HER AND SHE IGNORED ME.

Went to Monterey and found this deli. Man they had some yummy cakes and bread and you could even have a breakfast burrito lunch dinner and all. Great place we are going back about 6 or so for a nice Mexican dinner. Great dinner menu. So if you go to Monterey you must stop in. It’s a great place for breakfast food to eat or a nice lunch or like I said Dinner. Left and forgot to take some pics.

So happy I found this humble Mexican Bread bakery/restaurant. OMG! The Mexican bread “all of it” has authenticity and top quality and is on point with the traditional Mexico flavor of our ancestor’s goodness! it has been many years since I have not come across bread like this. I am a picky food critic because I also have under my sleeve 20+ years of being a cook. The bread is so darn fresh, crispy from the outside soft from the inside lightly sweetened not like other bakeries and the flavor oooh the flavor! you guys have to drive and try it it is pure “Mexico” deliciousness!

We wanted a one stop shop for a small event (30 people) and we got that with Zimatlan Bakery. We were able to order tamales, beans, rice, chips, salsa and conchas in advance. Everything was packaged in containers for us and ready on time. The tamales were HUGE (like burrito sized) and delicious. Guests went back for seconds which is all you can ask for when placing a large order for an event. I was too busy to get photos of the food but definitely wanted to leave a positive review!
