Loved everything here! We had a group of 20 people and we ordered for family meals and it was more than enough food! I thought the brisket Was the best, and we enjoyed all of the sides! Very accommodating to large groups and surprising it was not that busy.

I’d heard alot about this place at their NYC locations, so I figured I’d try the one in garden city since it’s close to home. I honestly did not like it as much as I’d hoped. The brisket was on the dry side, the burnt ends were drenched in sauce, and the ribs were a bit too sweet for my liking. Maybe the food is better when it’s fresh in the morning?
The hunt for great BBQ in NY continues…

Had lunch here with a friend for our first visit. Friendly, easy going staff made for good conversation as I awaited friend’s arrival. Parking is extensive in the lot area behind the restaurant. The place was barely occupies except for a couple across the room. I had the half rack of ribs with burnt brussell sprouts and jasmine rice. The meat was juicy and plenty of it. Sauce is provided. There is a bar in the dining area. Prices are reasonable, but the physical layout seems to lack a spark as for decor.

Garden City finally has a good bbq restaurant in it that you can actually smell the nice smells of the wood burning and taste the good smoked flavor in there meats. There meats don’t taste like there just boiled meats like the other place down the block does.
I ate here 2 days in a row and everything I ate was excellent. The first day I had the 3 meat combo in which i had the ribs, brisket and burnt ends along with a side of there sweet potato casserole and Mac and cheese. The second day I had there smoked chicken and pulled pork along with more Mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, bread pudding and fries. I could only eat a quarter of the food and had left overs for dinner.
There Mac and cheese is probably the best I have ever had, the sweet potato casserole tasted like candy and the bread pudding was amazing. I would seriously have a hard time trying to choose which one was my favorite out of the three sides.
The ribs, chicken and pulled pork were my favorite meats because they were not covered in BBQ sauce and you could really taste the nice smoke flavor they had in them. The burnt ends were still good with having BBQ sauce on them. The brisket was very tender and had a slight smokey flavor to them but not as strong as the chicken, ribs and pulled pork did. I would smoke the brisket a little more just to get a little more flavor into it but it was still good.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some good flavorful bbq food that is not to expensive.

First off, we (my wife and I) placed our orders and then we were OVER charged, the place was clean and the staff was friendly and courteous. The food was great one thing though; everytime we dine here I’m expecting the burnt ends baked beans to be exactly as it says on the menu “BURNT ENDS” not an ounce of them in the beans, you go to any other Mighty Quinns in NYC and the “BURNT ENDS” are IN the beans sooo much more flavor. A few days later come to see my statement from my bank and they did not deduct the over charge to my card.

6/13/21 HORRIBLE – We placed an order for pickup and when we got home – Presentation disgusting – The Ribs are pink, The half Chicken was wrapped in paper and plastic wrap as if I ordered a raw Chicken from the Butcher. My Wing is raw, the Beans are flavorless and the pulled Pork is pink and full of fat. The Sweet Potatoes are the only decent thing in this bag of nasty food. We wasted $65 plus tax and 15 percent tip and will tell everyone we know to not eat here! Famous Dave’s you have nothing to worry about.Never again!I am trying to add the pictures they will turn your stomach!

My husband and I decided to go for dinner today. We decided to do takeout. The staff at the takeout counter are super friendly now to the food we ordered brisket and burnt ends 1/2 pound each. The brisket they cut the burnt ends were taken out of a warmer next to the sides sitting In grease. Didn’t seem like 1/2 pound. According to the website all the sides looked amazing. In the restaurant they looked like they were sitting for hours and 1/2 empty didn’t look fresh or hot which was a turn off because I was looking forward to having sides. I’ve been to the one in NYC totally different experience.

Food was OK. The bake sweet Potatoes was fabulous but the meat could be better. Didn’t have a chance to sit down for a drink, hopefully next time I’ll will.

Terrible greasy food for delivery! In person, the food has been spectacular! But this time, everything smushed together and a pool of grease at the bottom!! Yuck! 2stars because they were very nice about hearing me out about the quality of the food.

Garden City is so lucky to have Mighty Quinn’s BBQ a part of this neighborhood! Very popular in the city, all over Brooklyn and Manhattan. This place has mouth watering smoked meats and their sides complete this entire southern comfort experience.
