It is what it is! And in old downtown Stockton that means a lot! One of the only pizza by the slice stores in Stockton. Good pizza slices! Limited menu though. No mushroom or mushroom dominant blends.

What is this place’s problem ? This is the fourth time in the last few months I’ve been here sometime between 3:50 and 4:15 on Friday and they are closed, when it says on the door they close at 4:30 and online is even wrong stating they close at 5:00. It’s currently 4.11 p.m. Friday and they are closed locked up gone for the day. This is ridiculous, horrible customer service and I won’t be coming here again. Straight up lazy management/ownership. Hey Alfalfa’s this is what you call garbage customer service and straight up disrespect to your customers. Learn how to run a business.

This place literally deserves no stars. If possible, it owes stars back to the customers. This is by far the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life. I’m not even going to complain about the fact that in California, for some reason that is beyond my comprehension, you guys cut up a pie that should be 8 slices into 24 slices.
I went there because I’m currently working at RTD on a major project. The CFO took me and my team there to eat. He swore up and down that the pizza was great. That I and one other member of my team that was also from Jersey would love it.
He ordered a 16″ combo pie. This hideous disaster of a pizza came out to us, and to say it was undercooked would be an understatement.
I tried grabbing a slice, and it broke in half. I had to literally eat this pizza by ripping it apart and eating it piece by piece. I grabbed another slice, and the same thing happened.
I ate only two small slices. When I got home, lets just say, the floodgates opened from my backside, and a mudslide ensued.
Don’t eat here if you care for your well-being.

I had a horrible experience. I went to have some lunch with 2 other people. We had ordered and sat down. It rubbed me the wrong way that they didn’t give receipt but okay whatever. We waited for a while and nothing. We ended up waiting 30 minutes until I went up to the register to ask what was taking so long for the food to be ready. When I talked to the short lady she told me that they had forgotten to prepare our food. In the end I asked if we could get a refund because we were running late to where we needed to be but they told me that they don’t do refunds. We had already paid for the food but had to leave without eating anything all because they forgot about our order. Think twice before coming to eat here.

I’ve been coming to Alfalfa’s since I was a kid, especially with school nearby, and it’s always felt like home. They treat you like family, serve up some really good pizza, and have an awesome selection of candies that brings back memories every time.

Ordered 2 milk teas with boba, got my teas back with no boba. I went and told them my teas had no boba they then told me we’re out. If that was the case it would’ve been nice if I was told when ordering and specifically said to add boba and was charged for it. No receipt was given to me when I paid nor a refund was offered when I was clearly disappointed.

Absolutely delicious pizza made fresh and with the right price! Very affordable, not greasy, and little ones absolutely loved it! A medium pizza can easily feed 3-4 people and side salad was excellent! Nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal downtown! They have an excellent deli with sandwiches as well! Highly recommend for a family outing or date night!

The only reason I gave them 1 star is because they answered the phone and took my order that they didn’t get right. What turned me off about the place was the customer service at the counter. The girl rang me up, took my card and then pointed at the cash register for me to get my own receipt. Not a thank you, or have a nice day, no smile, nothing. She just stared at me. Rude. They lost a customer today.
Update: Seems like they’re under new management. They have me back now. They fixed what was broken. Love this place again. ❤️
