We ate here with friends to celebrate a birthday. At first, it was confusing finding the entrance as there are other doors but reserved for private occasions or gathering. We were accommodated right away and out server is very nice and hardworking. The food, a little bit pricey but the seafood linguine & chicken alfredo was really good. The Pesto penne, not much. The carrot cake is the best as dessert. Overall, I will rate this restaurant 4/5. Also will recommend if there are any occassions.

We dropped in around 11:30am. The restaurant has a warm and cozy Italian theme. There’s a piano in the dining room, red and white tablecloths. We ate on the patio. It’s huge closed in with a fountain and flowers in platters. The server was friendly. The menu had some expensive choices-$30 and up. We ordered the Cesar salad $12 and the Hawaiian pizza -$22. We waited 20 minutes for the pizza. I found the pizza wasn’t worth $22. It was very thin with limited toppings. They’re the only restaurant with a pizza oven in town so I was a Little disappointed.

I had a fish dish that was a decent cut of white fish and was perfectly cooked but it lacked a unique flavour or a proper amount of seasoning. If I recall correctly it was $40 so priced reasonably just needed more flavour. The patio is nice, hence the five stars for “atmosphere”. Our server was excellent despite being new to the industry (I believe ). I’d probably return to Dinkel’s for another dinner.

My husband and I are frequent visitors of Dinkels and Paulo’s restaurant.
We absolutely love the food and the atmosphere; the staff are always amazing, the food is divine.
We loved celebrating our anniversary tonight.
Thank you so much to Erin (L) for making our night that much more meaningful.

Wonderful quality time spent with mom today.. No one does appetizers or woodfired oven cooked pizzas like this restaurant! The mussels were fresh. so plump and were in my favourite sauce. meunière! It is evident that this restaurant’s intention for their guests is to feed them well. The best ingredients, dishes executed well and generous portions. The Calamari Fritti a la Joso has been a favourite of our family’s for almost three decades, along with the Bocconcini, tomato, red onion as caper salad with Balsamic vinaigrette. The pizza as suggested by our amazing server, Tansy, was over the top delicious! Tomato sauce, mozzarella, prosciutto, fresh pear and fresh basil added right after coming out of the wood-fired oven. So happy to finish off our meal with chocolate raspberry mousse cake and vanilla raspberry Tartufo rolled in coconut served with a generous amount of berries and citrus and a dollop of freshly whipped cream. Thank you for the warm and comfortable hospitality Paulo’s and Dinkel’s team. It always feels like home when we dine at your restaurants. We will be back soon! Still one of the most beautiful restaurants in Ontario to dine at.

Belleville’s best kept secret! I hesitate to even let you in on it since the atmosphere is equal to a “quick” jaunt to Europe. I wandered in off the street needing sustenance after packing my mother’s retirement home space for two days. This was just the reprieve I didn’t know how badly I needed. This is a casual or dress it up sort of spot. Just like in Europe-do as you please and embrace the life with food and good company. There is a gorgeous hidden garden to dine that will truly thrill you. Date worthy, family event perfect, friends hanging out -even better. Check out the surroundings and remember that my photos don’t do it justice. You can’t hear the water feature and lightly strumming guitars.
The bread is bewitched. Lol.

Second time in 3 years we went to Dinkels after a celebration of life. About 20 of us each time. The food and drinks were very well prepared and very tasty. A special shout out to Chris our waitress! She worked our entire party by herself and didn’t get a single drink or food order mixed up. She was very accommodating and an absolutely pleasure to work with! The chef did a great job…food was tasty and hot and was served in a very timely manner! Cheers

It was my family’s first time dining in at Dinkel’s & Paulo’s Restaurant. The experience was definitely superb. The food was excellent! For appetizers we started off with the French onion soup and calamari. The French onion soup was okay but the calamari was really good. For mains My husband got the grilled salmon with Caesar salad and I got the creamy pesto pasta I think it was called Roberto linguine. The Salmon was cooked really well and had a lot of flavour, the pesto linguine came with chicken and sun-dried tomatoes, now this was amazing , I finished the entire plate it was just that good. Overall rating 10/10, would definitely go back the next time we are in Belleville.
