The waitress was friendly and attentive.
I ordered the Margherita with a side of sauce.
The crust was thoroughly cooked with a nice, crispy underside. The sauce on the pizza was sweet and tangy, and there was plenty of it.
Toppings were evenly distributed and generously portioned, but the tomatoes could’ve been a little more acidic and flavorful.
My pizza came out quickly, considering the oven hadn’t even been turned on when I walked into the restaurant.
The pricing was a little high.

Ive had better $2 Tonys frozen pizza. Supreme pizza was without flavor. It had almost no sauce or cheese, was on burnt, thin cracker bread with 2″ of crust around the edge. Wife’s ziti with meatballs did have flavor. Next time back to good pizza at Crafthouse.

Verona Pizza in Maple Glen is amazing! The cheesesteaks and pizzas were absolutely delicious — hands down the best I’ve ever had. And I eat a lot of cheesesteaks!!! They were huge!!! Enough for 2.5 meals. The cheesesteaks were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, and the pizza was cheesy, crispy, and just the right amount of saucy. Crafted with such love and care! And the ingredients, top tier. The service was so friendly and fast, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell they really care about their customers and the food they serve. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again! Honestly, best pizza and cheesesteaks in or around Philly!

Verona’s Pizza makes the best cheese pizza I’ve ever had! The crust is perfectly golden and crispy on the outside but still soft and chewy in the middle. The cheese is melted just right — super gooey and flavorful without being greasy — and the tomato sauce has that perfect balance of sweet and tangy. Every bite tastes fresh and made with care. You can tell they use quality ingredients and actually take pride in their food. If you’re a pizza lover, Verona’s cheese pizza is a must-try. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could!

Casual dining with great pizza. Updated 5/25 – we each got a pizza. I got gluten free crust and no mozzarella cheese. This was my first pizza this way and I got their Albanian that’s gyro meat, Kalamata olives, and feta cheese and it was very good. My husband got a classic pizza and was buried in cheese and he say may be one of the best pizzas he’s ever had.

This is a two week average rating. If I was rating their pizza from the takeout we got last night this would be a 1 star review. (I’m considering the perfect pizzas we got a week ago as 5 stars)
Last night one pizza was overcooked and the other was burned. The outer edges were black as was the unfortunate spinach topping that wasn’t protected by the crusty brown cheese. It looked like burned paper was sprinkled on top.
There is no way that these should have been given to a customer. I’d have waited for a new one but the last pizzas we got from here were perfectly cooked and delicious so I didn’t check them till we got home. Out of two pizzas we were able to salvage enough to make one. I sincerely hope they get their quality control fixed but one more pizza like this and we won’t be back.
Update: Tried another pizza takeout. Same problem. The outer edge burned black. I’m done with their pizza and I now consider it 2 stars though I can’t modify my earlier 3 star rating it seems.

Provisimo! If you aren’t eating at Verona on a regular basis, you are missing out on something very special. My wife and I have been dining here for years and we have never been disappointed. The pasta, pizza and cheese steak are delicious, the service is prompt and friendly, the dining area is spotless, the music is great, the portions large enough to share and the prices are more than fair! Better than Carrabas, Bella Notte, Buca di Peppo and others. Take a break from the Mexican food and try something special.
