Bar yes Grill not so much… bartenders and waitresses were great! Running around keeping tabs on everyone and trying to make up for the kitchen (clearly one man) being so far behind on orders ( I would not call the restaurant packed, but were are a good amount of people) the fries, tasted like cardboard, clearly over fried. The Philly cheese sub was a slab of meat with a piece of heated cheese on top. The Caesar wrap was not bad but the lettuce is not in the best shape, but that could’ve been from the chicken being so hot it wilted over the lettuce. Bottom line, great place to grab a drink but go elsewhere to eat.

Only stopped in to get a quick bite between movies…. The food was great but the service was lackluster and the place was full of a bunch of drunks at noon on a Sunday….the people were so loud and annoying…. I sat for almost 20 minutes before anyone came to me to take my order…. They were friendly after that but there was no reason for the 20 minute initial wait.

Great place to watch the eagles game! The staff is super friendly and food and drinks come out quickly even when it’s busy. Food is above average for bar food (chicken tenders 10/10!). Go birds!

Yesterday afternoon/evening was my second visit to Raffurty’s this month, and first time to watch an Eagles game. What a great time it was!!!
I had soooo much fun, as the place was packed with cheering Eagles fans. It was like being back up in Philly, except that I was sitting out on a deck watching the game and it was a beautiful December day. The crowd was very friendly; strangers became friends quickly. I met several people who I’m sure I’ll see there again, including a gentleman who was visiting from Georgia, and we planned to meet there again on his next visit.
There are plenty of TVs, so if you decide to move around from outside to inside or between the two floors you won’t miss any of the game. Kudos to Karl and the crew working there, they did a great job, especially for the large crowd.
There is no doubt that I will not only return to The Eagles Nest, but I’ll be bringing others with me.

Over the past three months we’ve been enjoying the Tuesday Trivia & Wednesday Bingo nights at Raffurty’s. Having the caller of both be so intimately involved in the business is a very unique experience. After my wife lost her parents a few years back, she hasn’t wanted to go out and enjoy Sarasota like we used to. Now she is excited to go play bingo and win! I can’t believe she won the upside-down Fireball shots contest. Her bingo booty she brags about is displayed in the pic below. We might have to throw a party to make room for more. Too Fun! You guys run a good fun place to be on Main St. Thank you!

A wonderful local bar and definitely a great place to watch games and enjoy a bite to eat. The owner and staff are fantastic people and very hospitable. Daily lunch specials are hard to beat as far as a bar menu and especially for the area. 9/10 all day long.

First impressions last a lifetime, I walked in with my wife to meet a friend for a drink 1230am, asked the DJ for a karaoke song. Her reply was “the list is cut off, but there maybe a chance with a tip involved.” without even looking at the list, so i asked if there could be an acceptable rule to greed? showing my active mil ID seeing karaoke is over at 130am. “LOL! I’ve never had anyone ask for a military discount on a song…” was the reply. Thanks for the hospitality, I finish my 20 years of service next year. Lived here the past 3 years, had lunch at your establishment a few times. Good enough for me for a lifetime… I wish you the best of success.
