Today I dropped by Don’s Asian kitchen for lunch and had a very nice meal which consisted of the red chile covered cumin lamb and a crisp cold garlic celery. A great combination of rich medium spicy lamb with cool crunchy celery. The meat was tender and well cooked with a nice cumin flavor. The tea was perfect for the day. The nice lady who took my order was really bright and friendly! I am not familiar with either of the dishes I ordered , so others might rate them a notch higher or lower, but having consumed traditional Chinese cooking in Taiwan Bangkok etc I am a reasonably experienced diner. The bathroom was clean and serviced. Easy parking. I will try them again!

Just had the Kong pow chicken and Chicken Chow mein for take out. Both were very flavourful and the quantity is quite decent compared to many other places. The manager was also very nice.

– Authentic Szechuan taste with altered spice level (not too spicy!)
– Generous portions
– Great service!
Could be improved:
– i thought the spicy chicken could be spicier, and the eggplant dish could be less sweet and more spicy

Took here by a friend who is living in White Rock. Location is a little bit hard to find if I came by myself.
Food was good compared with other Sichuan-ish style restaurant in Vancouver. Cold beef dish was bland. But according to my friend, usually it was good. For people like myself who is originally from Chengdu, was pretty happy with what they served.
Service is adequate but could be slow sometimes.

To say the food is delicious is an understatement. LOVED it!! The meal was loaded with complex and a different flavour that will keep me coming back for more. I recommend the Lamb with bone and cumin, and the ginger beef crispy.
The servers were friendly and the food arrived quickly and hot.
Giving 3 stars for atmosphere because there was a large family with yelling kids. Not the restaurants fault, but people should be mindful that nobody wants to hear their kids yelling in a restaurant.

Visited Chongqing Taste again today after a long time, and it felt very nostalgic. My wife ordered fried tofu and pea shoots, while I ordered Fuqi Feipian, eggplant in garlic sauce, Chongqing sticky rice cakes, and Sichuan wontons. Every dish was incredibly delicious, especially the fried tofu which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the Fuqi Feipian which melted in the mouth, and the eggplant which had the perfect balance of sweet and sour. Special mention to Xiaoli, whose service was excellent and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained. We will definitely come back with friends and family. Highly recommended, the best Sichuan restaurant in Surrey!
