The best BBQ I’ve ever had outside of Texas!!!
The portions and pricing is very good.
My coworkers and I went here for the first time and all concurred, there was nothing served that was not delicious. We did not leave hungry.
Parking is a little tight, but absolutely worth finding a spot to squeeze into.
Wheelchair and assisted mobility friendly.

This was our first time. We’ve been waiting to go and surely wasn’t disappointed. We drove an hour for some of the best BBQ / Brisket. The pricing was great, very affordable. Portion sizes: on point! There was plenty to take home after a good meal. We tried the beer battered onion rings – **it’s a must try. They are delish. I had the Carolina style BBQ with deep fried corn on the cob…..that’s right, deep fried. It’s another **must try. On to the coleslaw- oh yeah, two thumbs up. The brisket, nice and moist – cooked juuuuuust right! I’ve never had baked beans with kidney beans in them but again, **it’s a must try. Ohhh the hush puppies, I could have ate a dozen of them. The house BBQ is great with the pulled pork. We also had the smoked mac n cheese with a short rib on top, topped with crispy jalapenos, ** it’s a must try.
All in all, 4 thumbs up for us. I’m a “BBQ conasaur” and can be very picky, but we will definitely take the hour drive and be back….real soon!

Eat Here! We eat at this location every Friday. The staff is always friendly, as are the GM and owner. I hadn’t found anything remotely good for BBQ in Virginia until we found this place. The sauces, pulled pork, brisket, ribs and several sides are amazing. The cornbread is great as well. I can’t say enough. It’s awesome! Thanks Team Carolina!

Best tasting, juiciest Nashville hot chicken I’ve ever had. Ribs and brisket were also fantastic.
Edit: forgot to mention in my initial posting, but my friend who ate with me said the cornbread made him mad at his mama for never making it like it was made here
Forgot to get the name of the waitress who helped me and my buddy out, but it was the lady with red-brown hair. She was very polite and proactive in ensuring we had everything we needed.
Atmosphere is casual and fun. A lot going on without feeling too cluttered.

“THE” Best BBQ in VA!! Hands ✋️ Down!! The Carolina Pulled Pork is exquisite, the Ribs spectacular , and the Beef Brisket will go up against the best of Texas !!! Good sauce, not bold, complements the flavors of the meats very well. Coleslaw, Beans, and hushpuppies are good. One of the great pitmasters in VA! Going back tomorrow to sample more of the sides; and, of course, get more of this (should be) award winning meat !!

The current location will only be open 3 more days before they move to a larger building; September 17, 18, and 25th, 11 am to 6 pm.

This review is for their food truck, we caught them last weekend and got the sausage and brisket sandwich SO GOOD! We have ordered from the restaurant before twice before they temporarily closed for family matters. I cannot wait for them to open back up. Very good food and nice staff. Brisket, sausage and wings are our favs so far can wait to try more!

We took a road trip to try this BBQ and it was closed. I relied on Google hours and reviews, but after we got home, we looked up their website and it’s closed due to medical reasons.
While it was a disappointment, the reality of someone closing due to medical condition is a serious event. I hope whomever is down right now can recover. Not for the BBQ, for the loved ones, friends and family.

Stopped here on a bike ride today and I had the pulled pork sammich and my friend had the brisket. Both were amazing in flavor, tender and cooked to perfection. The owners are super nice folks and served our food with a smile. I definately reccomend this restaurant for a some good Carolina BBQ!

You have to eat here!! This place should be on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives!! It is that good. We found it quite by accident as our Jeep had broken down at the gas station across the street. Not only did we get food here, the owners were gracious enough to loan us a car until the Jeep was fixed the next day. They even recommended a hotel and car repair. Michael and Lisa are the best. We met some awesome people on our vacation to the south but these two were our favourites. Try the baked beans! Best we’ve ever had. I need the recipe Michael!!
