Social Profile:

The Pastrami Project is a Food Truck whose goal is to deliver the taste of a bygone era to Central Florida. Hand brined, smoked and cured provisions; pastrami, brisket, Lox, made in the old fashioned traditional way. Served up at the perfect temperature on our own rye bread made in the truck and fresh bagels, with simple sides like cole slaw and half sour pickles. Come see why Guy Fieri call me the Prince of Pastrami.

I’m going to start out by saying the only had pastrami is on a sub from firehouse subs so I’m not a scholar it of any sort when it comes to pastrami. But I can say that the sandwich is here are downright extraordinarily delicious, but let’s get back to the beginning. Their food truck is positioned in a cozy rock-covered parking lot behind a building So it’s not visible from the main road, but it’s not hard to find either. The owner is very nice and straightforward which I like and he lets you know as soon as you walk up the time limit on your weight which is great so you can decide if you want to wait or not. We ordered two pastrami Rubens with the exception of mine being a double meat. Each order is served with Russian coleslaw and a pickle. We also ordered the fries which had a very tasty flaky sea salt sprinkled on them and we ordered a side of donkey sauce for dipping. I don’t know what donkey sauce is or what it consists of but I can tell you this. I’m very happy that I ordered it because I cleaned that little cup bare LOL. The bread was very fresh, soft in the inside and crispy on the outside edges. The meat was juicy tender and extremely flavorful. You can taste all the separate condiments on the sandwich at once without one overpowering the other. I’ve never been to New York and had pastrami which I hear you New York is famous for, but I think that it would taste exactly like this if I did taste it. All in all this is a a great little gem to have if you’re hankering for something different and full of flavor and it’s well deserved of its five stars and Hollywood praise from Guy fieri.

Today we went here for the first time, in the first hour after he opened, and he was busy preparing online orders. The scent of meat was delicious. It was great interacting with him, sharing experiences he had. He certainly was a joy to meet today. We ordered the pastrami tacos and the pastrami reuben sandwich. I absolutely love the perfect merge of flavors of the sandwich, the home made bread and every ingredient, all matching in perfection in texture and merging flavors. Extraordinary, like the chef. Highly recommend.

Nice little food truck tucked away behind the Italian restaurant where George serves some sandwiches. The prices aren’t bad, and the conversations I had with George were great. The food wasn’t too bad. They have a make shift little seating area right next to the truck. The place is only open from 10am-2pm. Monday-Friday. George is a friendly, great guy. I will definitely return to try more off the menu.

We ordered the pastrami tacos and pastrami sandwich with 2 orders of French fries. And ofcourse 2 drinks. The food was just outstanding and outrageously delicious. We did the drive from Hunters Creek and well worth it. Prices are good. Seating is scarce, so get there early or take it to go. The pastrami project hits it right out of the ballpark.

I stopped by The Pastrami Project for the first time, and I’m already hooked. You can tell right away these folks take their craft seriously — the pastrami was tender, smoky, and stacked just right. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the bread tied it all together perfectly.

It’s rare to find a sandwich spot that hits every mark on the first visit, but this one did. I’m already planning my next trip back!

Had a great visit to the Pastrami Project today, the food was great, the owner was a great guy to talk with and seeing the love by the local was very cool. If you are in or near Orlando. Stop by and see the “Princess of Pastrami”

OMG! Delicious pastrami and food!! We had it on white bread (don’t judge) and it was beyond yummy! The pastrami was moist and perfectly seasoned.
The fries were also yummy.
Highly recommend!

Ate here after my wife saw another post comparing it to Scwartzs in Montreal. The truck is parked behind an Italian restaurant, and is not visible from the street, save a pop up sign. The gentleman slinging smoked beef sandwiches is well versed in his craft. Everything was fresh and made in house. I had a reuben, my wife had a brisket sandwich. I will be roasted, but I personally enjoyed this more than Schwartzs, and I will definitely be back!

Visited on a gloomy, rainy day but still received a cheerful greeting. I opted for the dirty fries sans dressing (I’m a condiment hater) but even with editing his creation, they were still delicious! The fries were perfectly done with a crisp exterior and fluffy insides with just the right amount of salt. The pastrami was flavorful and tender with the cheese tying it all together; it was also filling. Highly recommend and will revisit whenever I return to Orlando

Absolutely fantastic! The pastrami sandwiches were delightful, with a plenty of tender, tasty pastrami between two super soft bread slices. The Three Egg Omelet with Pastrami was also very tasty.

It’s a bit hidden but makes it easy to park. Definitely worth checking out and I will come back for more!
