Stopped for Sunday brunch on our way through town. A lot of thought was put into the details to make this such a cozy inviting restaurant. There’s a beautiful space with a fireplace that’s perfect for sitting and reading with your cocktail/ coffee depending upon the time of day. All the tables had lit candles, soft jazz is playing in the background.. reminded me of Paris. We ordered the French toast, (came with gorgeous berries on top) tater tots with cheese curds egg, and a green salad (arugula with dill and lemon). Everything was delicious! I would come back here again in the evening for cocktails. And I’d also love to spend time here reading by the fireplace with a coffee.

It was fine, food was ok, 6 drinks took over 30 minutes, server didn’t come to table for drinks until 18 minutes, yes I timed it. Also server didn’t come to table to check what we needed, we saw him like 3 times. Took our app order and then we went to order dinner/more food and he told us kitchen was closed. Literally missed out on another food order and drinks for 6 people. Whatever, won’t be returning. Also note, the place was NOT busy, would have let a lot slide if it was packed or busy, lame.

Great place to kick off date night with a cocktail and some appetizers! Dion is a craftsman at crafting craft drinks. Have one or two. This is not your typical bar. It’s for those who enjoy a quality cocktail! The food and service is top notch and the atmosphere makes you feel like you are on vacation!

The Public House offered a wonderfully-unique menu of cocktails and appetizers. I ordered a drink called “Burning Embers”, it came to the table with a burning cinnamon stick! We had the Fries and Feta Cheese apps, both were amazing. Highly recommend you stop in for a drink + bite.

The best place to throw a party in Mid-Michigan! Hosted a graduation party from Chicago and I can’t speak highly enough of the whole atmosphere! The space was gorgeous, the food was absolutely delicious and the cocktails were delightful! The owner and staff were responsive and friendly, even the music was perfect! We utilized both the indoor and outdoor space and it was perfect size for 50 guests. We will definitely return and highly recommend The Public House!

Customer service is horrible, the drinks are too sweet and way overpriced its of $30 just for two sugary drinks. The bar tender was very rude. She didn’t acknowledge us at the bar and by the time she got over she took to customers that came in after us.

Really enjoyable craft cocktails and a beautiful charcuterie. The space is lovely. Our bartender was great. Only downfall was the constant banter from two other bartenders/servers, but overall an enjoyable experience.

My husband has a bartending business out of state and the choice of ice and craft for the cocktails really show a real mixologist is behind the bar making these.

Stopping by for the first time to try a variety of drinks and grab a slice of pie for desert was the right choice. The atmosphere is filled with fantastic, live plants and seasonal decor. It’s a nice space for a date or a gathering that offers carefully made hand-crafted cocktails and pairings of delicious food. The staff were all so friendly, respectful, and skilled at their jobs. I can’t wait to come visit again.
