Great sub joint to check out in the CF area. The husband and I stopped by quickly while in the area. I had #3 and my husband had #2 both toasted. The service was prompt and friendly. The interior is simple. If you are in the mood for sandwiches, go check them out!

Never had a bad SubCity sandwich. Bread is fresh and the cut-to-order meats really bring it all together. Much better than Subway and JJ’s. Current favorite is #25 with lettuce, onion, banana peppers and dill spread.

My 1st Sub City sub in nearly 20 years!!!
Had moved out of state and missed Sub City SO much. Walked in this past Saturday and ordered the Sub City Special foot – long (#25) on white bread. Included Turkey, Roast Beef, Ham, Hard Salami, Capicola, Chopped Ham, and Provalone. Friendly staff, and VERY efficient in handling the crowd. Took the sandwich home and ate half of it, saving half for Sunday. Tasted equally fresh on Sunday.
GOOD JOB Sub City crew. You’ll see me again soon!

One of the best sub places in the cedar valley. Fresh bread, meat is sliced fresh for each sandwich, and enjoy the fixings. It is sometimes hard to find the menu online. They close at 7, which is a little early.

Good food, be ready for a wait in line though if you aren’t first. Definitely different than subway or other sub/sandwich shops. This was my first time here, it was definitely different when walking into a line and you have a person for every station making part of the sandwich. The staff were respectful and quick with making the subs. I will definitely stop again! Huge menu and many different options.

If you ever find yourself in Cedar Falls Iowa you need to eat at Sub City. The food is amazing, the staff is so sweet, and the little hole in the wall cozy restaurant fits perfect in the small college area.
