What a fantastic experience! The owner and employees made us feel so welcome and at home. They explained in detail all of their offerings, made recommendations and constantly checked up on us. And let’s not forget the tea rooms with all of the beautiful vintage hats (some of which I think were for sale) and tea pots. So much to look at and admire. Thank you for making our day exceptional. And for offering to take many pictures of us to remember the day. I will be back!

This was our first time visiting the Olde Magnolia Tea Room. What an amazing experience it was! Beautiful Christmas decorations were everywhere creating a warm and beautiful atmosphere. Their food is all farm to table fresh and was delicious, with a good selections of teas. The owners, Mike and Terry, were wonderful, friendly hosts. The service was fantastic. The tea room was clean and well kept. We enjoyed it so much we plan on coming back very soon and we will now be having our annual “Best Friends Christmas Lunch” there every year as well. This is by far the best tea room, on every level, that we have ever been to! We can’t wait to go back. And, don’t forget to visit their bathroom…it is so cute and adorned beautifully as well. Thank you, Terry and Mike, for the great food, service and wonderful hospitality! See you soon!

One of my friends arranged a tea date for 4 of us to have a little afternoon holiday celebration. It was my first time here and the place is absolutely enchanting!
You stepped through the front door and into a magical world. There was one room decorated for Christmas with so many charming items you didn’t know where to look.
The plates and tea service are beautiful and the soup, salad, scones, teas and sweets were freshly made and delicious.
One of the owners attended to us and took great care of us.
I highly recommend the place and look forward to finding a reason to come back.
Get there for Christmas if you can.

We treated my son and DIL to an afternoon tea here to kick off the holiday season and it was perhaps one of the best (if not THE best) afternoon tea service we’ve ever experienced!! Everything was flawless – from the holiday vibes and stellar service to the scones and sandwiches!

I booked online for the holiday themed full afternoon tea for Thanksgiving weekend several weeks in advance and luckily squeezed in on the Saturday. Booking online was easy and straightforward. I received a friendly call very soon afterward from owner Terry to confirm and secure a time. The original date I wanted was already full so I’d advise to book well in advance if you have your heart set on a particular day.

And I believe Terry also provided our tea service on the day – I can’t say enough about how warm and attentive he was! Exemplary service! Our place settings were beautifully decorated with Christmas poinsettias and set such a festive tone from the minute we were seated!

Terry explained the process and gave us a rundown of the teas and food orders. Since there were four of us we received two pots of tea and it was way more than we could drink! The pots are very generous and did an impressive job of keeping our teas hot! We chose the Coconut Chai and the Spicy Vanilla – both were delicious and we all agreed we would happily get these again.

After getting settled in with our tea, out came the first course – a lovely homemade roasted tomato soup and a salad with a delightful homemade onion vinaigrette. The soup was incredible- we all loved it. After we cleaned our plates, Terry brought out a seasonal pumpkin white chocolate scone with clotted cream (made in-house and to die for!) and a delectable cinnamon maple butter. Hands down one of the best scones and cream I’ve ever had!

And last but not least – our three-tiered tower of heaven arrived!! Two tiers of finger sandwiches and a top tier full of more sweet bites to finish us off. There were four sandwich flavors: chicken salad, egg salad, roasted red pepper, and cucumber. All homemade and all absolutely divine! The bread was soft as velvet and the fillings were full of flavor with smooth textures.

The dessert tier was also phenomenal! There were three types: beautiful holiday petite fours, pieces of sinful chocolate fudge, and a miniature spiced holiday cheesecake. I’m not a huge fan of fudge but theirs was lovely! All of it was to be honest. This will be the afternoon tea service that I compare all tea services to going forward haha!

The building itself is also spectacular. The tea room sits in a beautiful historic classical revival brick building from the early 1900s that the owners lovingly restored to reflect that era. You’ll find it in Old Town Upland to further add to the historic vibes! And they’ve decorated for Christmas with such flare – you could spend all afternoon looking at the decorations and still not be able to take it all in.

They have a small gift shop in the back of one of the dining areas – but unfortunately we couldn’t get to it bc of guests being seated directly in front of it – so I was kinda bummed but I’ll just have to check it out next time. Parking is free street parking in the surrounding area but there’s also a free public lot across the street. We didn’t have any issues finding a spot.

Initially I thought the holiday themed tea was a tad pricey at $49 per person – but after the experience I honestly can say I feel it’s totally justified and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Tysm Terry and staff for a wonderful holiday memory for me and my family!

Olde Magnolia Tea Room is such a charming and cozy spot. The atmosphere instantly makes you feel welcome, and it’s perfect for a relaxing afternoon. The tea sandwiches are absolutely delicious, made fresh and full of flavor, and the variety of teas is truly impressive—there’s something for every taste, from classic blends to more unique flavors. The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and efficient—all at a very reasonable price point. Whether you’re a tea enthusiast or just looking for a lovely spot to unwind, Olde Magnolia Tea Room is a delightful destination that doesn’t disappoint.

This place was super cute! Most everything we got was sooo good. However, if you are a big eater, the portion sizes are EXTREMELY small. I left still hungry. But the owners are extremely warm and welcoming. And the decor is too cute!!

Where to begin!?! This place is so adorable and welcoming. From the ease of booking to the friendly call confirming our reservation! This is mine and my daughter’s (11 years old) first time doing afternoon tea and we are hooked! Coming in is a cozy home feel with beautiful decor and we were seated right away. We chose the Mango Tea and Carmel Apple Tea. They were both delicious but the Mango Tea was our favorite! The blueberry scone and tea sandwiches were yummy! Our favorite was the cucumber sandwich. The desserts were great, especially their great grandmothers homemade cookies shaped like tea pots! We had great conversations with the owners who were so sweet and amazing! My daughter is already asking when we can come again!!
