I’ve only been here twice and both times have been amazing! The staff is nice and attentive. Even when it’s busy the food and drinks come out quick and taste good. The drinks are really strong so you will definitely get your moneys worth and the portions for food are also good for the price. The lobster maki sushi rolls are a MUSY try in my opinion.

Yang Ming is one of those places that just gets it.
The food is consistently incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and made with real care every single time. Whether you are grabbing a quick bite or settling in for the night, you can tell there is pride behind everything that comes out of the kitchen.
What really sets Yang Ming apart though is the owners and the staff. They are genuinely good people. Warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever feeling forced. They make you feel like you belong there, not like you are just another customer passing through. That kind of energy is rare, and you feel it the moment you walk in.
The atmosphere is relaxed, comfortable, and easygoing. It is the kind of place where you can unwind, enjoy good conversation, great drinks, and actually be present. Everything just flows naturally.
Yang Ming is a true gem, and it shows that it is run by people who care deeply about what they do and the people they serve. Cannot recommend this place enough. If you have not been here yet, you are missing out.

Have been to Yang Ming quite a few times and it still remains tops in my favorites. Food is fresh and amazingly delicious. I suggest the salt and pepper calamari and the basil beef. Mae is the best hostess and always has a smile on her face. Love it when she walks around and greets her customer and when she works the bar, look out, she can make a mean drink. Highly recommended all around

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and just can’t help but laugh at other Chinese food places. This is the best hands down! I’ve known the owners for a long time and have seen their business grow so much. Since moving over 40 minutes away last year, it’s so hard to find anything even close to comparison. We will always take the drive to come back here, and I would recommend everyone come at least once so they can have the same favorite place too.

Best food I’ve ever had in my life. Sushi was fresh, and delicious. Shu Mai fresh and cooked to prefection. Best Miso soup I’ve ever had, loaded with Nori, and Tofu, plenty of Miso broth. Sushi was made quickly and was fresh. The Ginger and Wasabi was also the highest quality I have ever had. The Mai Tai was delicious and strong. By far the best meal I’ve ever eaten in my 27 years on this planet.

If you’re searching for the best sushi experience, look no further than Yang Ming, a family-owned gem that consistently tops my list. After traveling and trying sushi all over, this cozy spot still reigns supreme. The freshness of the sushi here is unbeatable—you can taste the quality in every bite, especially with their nigiri. The balance of flavors in their sauces is truly remarkable, never too strong, sweet, sour, or hot—just perfectly balanced.
Each roll is crafted with precision, tightly packed and staying that way until it melts in your mouth. I keep coming back to their sushi over and over again, and for good reason. Personal favorites? The Godzilla Maki, Lobster Maki, Sunshine Maki, Ebi Mango, and any of their Nigiri (the Unagi is a must-try for eel lovers like me).
This is a place that consistently delivers, and I’ve captured countless photos over the years to prove it. If you haven’t been to Yang Ming yet, I highly recommend you do. Missing out on their sushi is an experience I truly feel sorry for you to never have.
Join me in tracking down the best bites!

We had a very bad experience using Yang Ming for the first time. We pre-ordered food from their special menu for Christmas Day. They gave me an order number to retrieve the food at a specific time. We paid in advance. The guys went to pick up the food that should have been ready. They could not locate the order. We had to give them the exact amount we paid before they could find that we had ordered. They found the order but it was never made. The lady was rude and put her hands in my husband’s face. They should have been apologetic but they weren’t. However, they re-took the order and prepared the food while the guys waited. They didn’t apologize to them or comp them with anything extra to make up for their poor service. This one lady was extremely rude. Food was good but their service is lacking. We will not be back.

We came in on a weekday afternoon, I’d seen this place driving by and was curious.
The amount of drink you get for your money is fantastic. I ordered the house special mai tai based on another reviewer’s recommendation and it was massive! Tasted very good too.
I ordered one of the sushi combinations, D on the back of the menu. It was a lot of sushi, more than I was expecting for the price, and it was all delicious.
We sat outside. The tables were clean and the server was friendly and attentive, we never had to wait long for service.
My only minor complaint is that a lot of people in the outside area were smoking. Which, in a way, adds to the character at least for me, but I wouldn’t mind not breathing in cigarette smoke and I’m sure others wouldn’t mind either.

Got here for the first time and definitely would not go back. First, it was $114 for takeout, which is insane. Especially in this economy. But I digress. The only thing I found edible was the fried rice. The teriyaki was very chewy, the crab rangoon tasted severely like fish, the eggroll had a cinnamon taste to it? It was very odd. The duck sauce was weird and tangy. For the price, definitely not worth it. Makes me sad because I heard a lot of rave reviews about this place.
