His: Second time here and loved it both times. Pork chop was outstanding. Our server was Angel and she made it a great experience. Loved the music! Soup was incredible.
Hers: My first time and didn’t know what to expect from this old house turned restaurant. The blue crab dip was phenomenal, just would appreciate a naan or bruschetta instead of pita crumbs at the end of the bag. The glazed salmon was exceptionally tender, the risotto and thin asparagus were delicious. Their extremely soft warm rolls with maple butter was an added bonus to the meal. Angel really did make my dining experience top notch! Menu changes regularly and you have to check Facebook for the most current.

Stopped in for the first time and was absolutely delighted! The atmosphere is wonderfully quaint and cozy, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the owner, Amy, made sure everyone felt truly welcomed and cared for.

Amazing experience! The food is so good and the vibes are perfect. The staff are very kind and attentive. I had the bourbon salmon and that bourbon glaze is 11/10. The only part that didn’t blow me away was the risotto. It didn’t have much flavor and the texture was a bit off. Oh and the cocktails were quite tasty. All in all a great experience and I will definitely be coming back

Two visits ago our drinks and food were unacceptably slow.
Last time, we were seated and after we weren’t approached by a waitress after sitting for 10 mins we got up and just left.
We loved this place when it was Kemp 208, but we won’t be back.

My wife and I ate at The 208 House for the first time under the new ownership this week. Our meals were fantastic. The best dishes we’ve had since moving to the area two years ago. My wife had the scallops and I had the filet. We split for a surf and turf. Both were excellent! We enjoyed it when it was Kemp 208, but our meals were next level this week. We HIGHLY recommend!

Dining at The 208 House is great all around—food, service, and atmosphere! It’s a treat, for sure, but not only a special occasion venue. Rather, that familiar neighborhood restaurant where a warm welcome from Amy, the charming owner/host, sets the tone for a fun evening with good cocktails, a thoughtful menu of seasonal dishes, uncompromising service, and that charm and relaxing atmosphere that most want in a great restaurant experience.
