Saw the good ratings of this place and decided to stop in less than an hour before closing time. We were welcomed and seated. Atmosphere is calm despite being very busy. I had the pineapple fried rice and it is the best most flavorful example of this meal I’ve ever tasted! My husband had the beef noodle soup. Deep dark aromatic broth with tender meat and noodles! Excellent job! Too bad we are from out of state, otherwise this would be our new favorite spot. A+

This Thai restaurant is located right in the heart of downtown and it was amazing. My friends and I got ourselves Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Fried Rice and all the dishes were amazing! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking to have some Thai food.

I tried the new Taste of Thai beef noodle soup today, and wow—it’s the best I’ve had in Lexington! The flavor was amazing, and I didn’t leave a single drop. Highly recommended!

The food was great and came out fast. I have not had mango sticky rice that good since I was in Phucket.
I got mild green curry, mango sticky rice the mangoes were the perfect ripeness and pad Thai to go.
Serving sizes were also great I left very full and took half my curry home.

SERVICE
Servers, although stationed right beside our table, were not attentive. They were just interacting with each other behind the counter. Never asked if we wanted a refill. Did not provide us with eating utensils.
FOOD
I had vegetable pad Thai. It would have probably not been bad but tasted like it was cooked in OLD oil. STALE. Took alot of bites to get past that flavor. Once my taste buds adjusted to it, was not a bad dish.
Disclaimer: I only ate the dish because I was on a date. Otherwise, after the first couple stale bites, I would not have finished. THIS WAS FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH THAI FOOD. Sadly.
In conclusion, I will not eat at Taste of Thai again. Not ever.

Yellow curry, while flavorful, is lacking. A pittance of vegetables, 4-5 pieces of chicken. Very poor value for the price, better options on menu.
Disappointing amount of food when compared with noodle dishes.

Delicious food, reasonable prices, and a very cute downtown location. Very friendly waiter (seen in one of the pictures), and the chef accommodated request for no cilantro in any of the dishes. All dishes were made fresh to order, and had different heat levels per request.
