Great Atmosphere, Variety of Vegan Options. Loved the vegan wings and the vegan gyro tasted great, but was wrapped in a simple tortilla, not a pita. The fries with the gyro had been clearly rewarmed by double dipping in the frier, creating a stale texture. The pickle fries seemed confused with spiced breading, tart pickles, and a sticky sweet dressing. The biggest disappointment came in the vegan nachos which were overly wet and oddly sweet. That aside I was impressed that they had a decent non-alcoholic beer in St. Pauli. I do have to say I would get the vegan wings any day while the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere made up for some lacking in the food. Will return.

I love this place. Food is always delicious. Beer selection is insane. Service is always quick and professional. I’ve been coming here since they opened and it was a welcomed addition to my hometown. They actually care about the beer they’re putting into your glass, and that goes a long way.

The main part of my personal review score is for the beer selection and the knowledge of the server on the selections.
As for the food….my husband ordered a steamed burger ala a fast food chain style and he highly enjoyed it. The waffle fries were well cooked but not seasoned at all. I am never one to add salt to food. I am a non pork or beef person so I ordered the one chicken dish (there’s technically two but they’re practically the same thing). It was okay, I would never rush back there to get it. It was a fried chicken patty on a bun. The ingredients were all fresh but it really was not something I would ever order but the choices were limited. We also ordered the pickle fries – such a disappointment. They were thin and soggy pickle fried strips. There is a whole vegetarian /vegan menu offered as well. The service was polite and attentive and I didn’t notice the music being an obnoxious sound as others mentioned. I’m highly sensitive to loud sounds so I was pleased that I had a different experience.

This place deserves 0 stars. It was horrible from the moment we walked in. I don’t know which was worse, the food, the service or the prices. We waited 1/2hr to be seated when there was at least 2-3 other tables that were open but needed to be cleaned. Once we got a table, we had to get back up to get our own menus. We then waited about 20 minutes for our server to come over and take our drink orders which then took another 20 minutes. Our appetizer took 40 minutes and was disappointing. We ordered the pickle fries which in my opinion should be thicker and come with a zesty sauce instead of a sweet and sour type sauce. Our food came out about 20-25 minutes after our appetizer and that was disappointing as well. I got the Bavarian crusted mac n cheese. I honestly think kraft Mac n cheese is better then the overpriced garbage I was served. I would also like to mention the place was freezing. They should be able to afford heat since everything on the menu costs an arm and leg. Will not be back ever.

Overall the beer menu and the atmosphere was pretty cool. The service was OK; very friendly but not readily available. But I love the whole idea behind the place.
But the food was poor at best. If you’re going to have the words “burger” and “dessert” in your name, they have to be good, which was just not the case. I’ve had better burgers at our local sports pub, and dessert for that matter. Also very pricey. If I want to drop north of $50 for burgers for my wife and I, I’ll go to Bobby Flay’s and at least have good food. It’s a shame because I really liked the atmosphere and beer selection, but the food and price will make me never return.

I ate here for the 1st time, this restaurant was horrible. I wanted to order the Chicken and waffle burger, and she said there were no waffles. I tried ordering the 12 oz burger and she said they had no more of them. I tried ordering boneless buffalo wings and she told me they were out of them as well. I mean I’ve never heard of such a thing. The food we DID get was mediocre at best and it took awhile to get our food and even our drinks. The food was bad, the service was bad, the beer was warm, and overall a horrible experience. I do not recommend this place to anyone trying to enjoy a nice meal. Two thumbs down!

Service, food and beer are all excellent. I mean where else can you get a delicious steamed burger with buffalo bacon and an excellent brew from Jersey that has very limited distribution? Just as the name would suggest this place has an amazing selection of beers and burgers, admittedly I’ve yet to try the desserts though. The only reason I wouldn’t opt for a 5 star rating is that they are definitely on the pricey side for what they are serving. Overall I would highly recommend going here for the food as well as the brews, but it’s unlikely to be someplace I’d go on say, a weekly basis or something.

My first time here and they had a limited menu and the beer was served in plastic cups. Ugh Something to do with the St Patty’s parade but the place was maybe half full. That being said, the food was great. Everyone loved their burgers and the Korean fries were stupid good. Draft and cask beer menu had a nice mix of styles. Our server was very knowledgeable about the beer selection and able to steer even the non-beer people to beers they loved. Will return!

Love the beer and the burgers. However, service although friendly is slow and the loud heavy metal music is horrific. With only one other table full in the restaurant, we politely asked the male host to either lower or change the genre. I do think he changed the channel only to more hard core heavy metal. Gave me such a headache, we decided to take our food to go. A true shame since we like the beer and burgers. However, the music sets the atmosphere. I think the host cared more about his music preference than the customer having an enjoyable experience.
