From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt elegant, poised, and thoughtfully curated. The space carries a refined energy while still feeling warm and welcoming. The servers were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the entire experience feel personal and effortless.
Ambassadors Clubhouse is a truly elite and sophisticated dining destination, embodying the rich culture and culinary heritage of Punjab with a modern, elevated touch.
Every dish felt authentic yet innovative. My personal favorites were the chilli cheese pakoda and the salmon tikka, but the aloo satpura completely stole the show! Even the drinks were aesthetically composed without compromising on flavor. The fusion of American and Indian influences was well crafted, balancing tradition with creativity.
Chef Karan truly outdid himself! Will definitely be returning soon.
Food wise – apps were better than mains. The standout were the Chili Cheese Pakode, Wagyu Keema Naan, and Beetroot Raj Kachori Chaat. The chaat was layered and so flavorful in each bite. Mains were again, a bit mid and didn’t rlly stand out to me. Naans were good but nothing extraordinary. Dessert was nothing show stopping and honestly, you could skip it.
The staff is definitely very interesting and you can tell they’re very chaotic/ still getting used to the restaurant & space. The menu is also very long and will definitely take you minimum 20 minutes to align on what food to order And the staff don’t really help you/ walk through it with you which is surprising. I found out through other friends that you can customize how many pieces of chicken you can get in one order, which my party didn’t know so the 4 of us shared 3 chicken pieces. Not a big deal of course, but if we were to have known it would’ve been more thoughtful.
Def on the pricier end but for how gorg the interior is it’s quite worth it.
And you cannot leave without trying their famous Patiala Peg! It’s legendary for a reason. I was still feeling the buzz the next morning. Now I finally understand the story about Maharaja Sir Bhupinder Singh and why the English cricket players supposedly struggled the next day after drinking it!
Great atmosphere, delicious food, strong drinks, and a fun story behind it all. Highly recommend this place if you want an authentic and memorable experience. Definitely coming back!
The Aloo Matar Satpura is incredibly unique the creativity in both preparation and presentation is something rarely seen, even back home. It’s comforting, nostalgic, yet elevated.
The Beetroot Rajkachori, Taro Tokri & Tikka Chaat are absolute standouts vibrant, beautifully plated, and bursting with layered flavors that take traditional street food to another level.
The Baby Goat Meat Bun Kebab is tender and packed with depth, while the Warqi Seekh Kebab is delicately spiced and perfectly textured. The Dunghar Paneer Tikka, made with in-house buffalo milk preparation, has an incredible smokiness and richness that truly sets it apart.
The Crab Cheela is another creative masterpiece bold, balanced, and unlike anything else in the city. And the seasonal achars add that authentic Punjabi touch that completes the experience.
The Amritsari Kulcha is perfectly khasta — crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful inside exactly how it should be.
And you cannot miss their signature Patiala Peg a perfect tribute to Punjabi hospitality. It’s crafted beautifully and adds that fun, celebratory touch to the meal.
Every single item on the menu feels thoughtfully curated and is a must-try.
The desserts are phenomenal. My favorite is the Tarn Taran Jalebi served with pistachio soft serve an indulgent and brilliant twist on a classic. The dark chocolate banana peanut kheer is equally exceptional.officially my favourites
The food is top-notch, the ambience is absolutely beautiful, and the attention to detail is unmatched. In my opinion, no restaurant in NYC delivers Punjabi cuisine at this level. Highly, highly recommend.
Flavors: Every dish is bold and beautifully balanced. The Thumps Up Manhattan and Masala Margarita are must-order drinks. For apps, don’t miss the beetroot chaat, lamb seekh, paneer tikka, and butter chicken BBQ. For mains, the mutton is exceptional, and the laccha parantha is flaky, buttery perfection.
Ambience: Stylish, upscale, and vibrant without feeling overwhelming — perfect for a date night or special dinner.
Hospitality: Attentive, warm, and seamless service that makes you feel genuinely welcomed.
In a city full of great restaurants, Ambassador Club truly stands out. Highly recommend.
The appetizers were the highlight, especially the BBQ chicken chops and seekh kebabs which were finger licking!! While the chicken pakora and raj kachori were decent but heavy.
The Main courses were underwhelming: the chicken karahi was so small and very masala spicy, the maa ki daal was not comparable to other restaurants and chole kulcha was also ok. Two of the main dishes tasted so similar in spice/masala. The laccha paratha was overly crispy did not feel layered and hard to eat! There was also an unexpected charge for a Punjabi salad while we had asked for only onions. Dessert (kulfa) was delicious.
Overall, great ambiance, service and strong appetizers!
Our server David was very nice, and the mango bite at the end was delicious. The only downsides were a 20-25 minute wait despite a reservation and unfortunately we were given the wrong takeaway box, which was disappointing. Otherwise, a great experience.
From the moment you walk in, the London club theme and decor transport you. The space feels like an elegant private members club mixed with a vibrant Punjabi party mansion. Rich textures, warm lighting, and stunning details make it feel upscale yet welcoming at the same time.
The food was just as impressive. The menu celebrates classic Punjabi cuisine with a refined twist — from the flavorful original BBQ butter chicken chops and perfectly lamb spiced biryanis to creative dishes like the perfectly executed Ajwaini Wild Jheenga(U-4 wild prawns) You can taste the inspiration from roadside stalls, family kitchens, and royal palaces all in one meal. Everything is designed for sharing, which makes the experience even more fun and festive.
The cocktails were thoughtful and unique, incorporating regional ingredients that paired beautifully with the food.
It’s clear this isn’t meant to be “just another Indian restaurant.” Ambassadors Clubhouse delivers a full hospitality experience — lively, elegant, and memorable. A fantastic addition to the NoMad dining scene.
Highly recommend for a special night out, group dinner, or anyone who appreciates great food and atmosphere.
The only exception was the biryani with lamb, that was well cooked and seasoned.
And the braised veal curry had very very tender veal but also too salty.
