Excellent pizza pies here! We did a quick to-go order using the website and it was super easy. I didn’t see a way to build-your-own pizza but no matter, the sausage & shallots pizza was right up my alley (I added some jalapenos, see pic.) Mom loved her cheese & herbs pizza as well. They have wine and beer but the wine is by the bottle only. We got our pizzas to go then sat on one of the picnic benches outside. Great way to enjoy dinner during a beautiful evening, will definitely come again!

We had an absolutely fantastic meal there tonight. Both the Island salad and the sausage and shallots pie were unique and perfectly balanced in their flavors. All served in a very warm and inviting atmosphere with friendly service. Very glad we stopped in!

First the pros: The view from the patio is stellar. The roasted beet salad was the best thing we had there.
The cons: To call what we experienced and saw service is a disservice to even a basic level of service. We ordered a beverage that was listed on the menu and our server had no idea it was on the menu. Twice food we did not order was delivered to our table that we did not order. Our first pizza was delivered 40 minutes before the second pizza was delivered.
We had a half 4 cheese and half veggie. The 4 cheese was flavorful but the crust was overdone. The veggie had half cooked unseasoned veggies on it which made it hard to enjoy.
Our second pizza was half the seasonal squash and half ham and pineapple. Both sides were under seasoned and therefore fell flat.
Hopefully Vito Iacopelli comes to the island and teaches them how to pull their dough and they can stop over cooking it.
There was no explanation for the 40 minutes the second pizza took and no offer to compensate us for their mistakes.
There is potential there but sadly needs an intervention to make it worth eating in

We were staying in Deer Harbor Marina and based on other reviews, had low expectations.
My husband ordered the lasagna and they brought it out before the pizza, so it was super hot and delicious. While waiting for the pizza, I regretted not getting the lasagna.
When my sausage pizza arrived, it was steaming hot and the cheese was all stretchy when I pulled a slice out. My first taste of the cheese was buttery, rich, and slightly salty. I’m waxing poetic because I swear, this cheese was AMAZING. The crust was nice and crispy. I scraped my fork across the bottom and it made a lovely sound. I hate soggy crust.
I briefly considered ordering a second lasagna and pizza for leftovers. I struggled to keep my husband off my leftovers at lunch the next day.
The next time we’re in the San Juans, we’ll detour to Deer Harbor to get pizza and lasagna!

We met the owner and she’s very nice. The food and wine tastes great. Definitely coming back for more authentic Italian cuisine. The freshly baked Focaccia was absolutely perfect. The apple crisp pie with vanilla ice cream is extremely delicious, not heavily cinnamon and the apple tastes great.

Still one of our favorite places to eat at. The food is always consistent and the owners are wonderful. The egg rolls are fantastic 10/10 for sure. The view is amazing. If you enjoy breakfast you should visit them in Eastsound at the Island Skillet it won’t disappoint.

I see many other reviews are upset with long wait times or mixed up orders. What do you expect at a slammed pizza place in a small island town with a limited crew of staff? Anyway, rant aside this place was great!
One of the owners was running nonstop to help keep up with things and they gave great service all things considered. They had a couple local beers on tap which was great to sip on while we waited.
The pizza was the bomb! We had a 1/2 & 1/2 pizza with the Sausage/Shallot & Pepperoni. Both were amazing. The sausage & shallot in particular was my favorite.

This is one of my favorite places to eat! The owners are a wonderfully kind couple that provide a beautiful and welcoming dining atmosphere. My husband and I have made multiple day trips from the Seattle area specifically to visit, where we can watch the boats in the marina over a glass of wine and delicious pizza. Highly recommend the seasonal squash offering the fall, that one was gone almost the second it hit the table!

We made a point of driving out to Deer Harbor to try Island Pie, and we were not disappointed in the least! I am originally from New York and a pretty critical pizza eater; we are always looking for a good place to get a decent pie.
That being said, this is definitely NOT NY style pizza, but it IS absolutely delicious! The crust is thin and crispy, and does not have a giant, thick crust around the edge, so you can enjoy your toppings in every bite. The sauce was good and blended well with the cheeses in the toppings. My wife enjoyed her pizza (seasonal) so much she would have rated a six if she could!
All pies are 12″ which makes it easy, since you just need to choose toppings. Service was friendly and the views are outstanding, as the restaurant is nestled right in the harbor.
Island Pie is highly recommended for your visit to Orcas Island!
