I should have checked reviews before waking in here! I walked in the restaurant looked neglected windows, floors, tables dirty. I skeptically ordered lettuce was brown, tomatoes were falling apart. Payed and asked for code to restroom and was appalled by how discussing they are. I felt sick to my stomach and proceeded to asked the manger for a refund. I didn’t even want to touch my food. The manager said he couldn’t give me a refund because the restaurant being dirty was not an excuse to get a refund. Then he said he didn’t know how to do a refund. I can’t believe this place is even opened. DO NOT eat here unless you want to get sick! I never received a refund! I wrote to subway corporate and took the survey to get in contact with them. They never responded. Subway will never receive a dime from me again!

The cashier was rude and he didn’t warm my chicken up for my sandwich. He had a bad attitude. My husband and I are visiting Savannah from out of town and out of all the restaurants we have been too this place by far is the worse. We will NOT be back. If you don’t like where you are then you need to find another place to work. Customer service awful….smh

The bathroom in this place was absolutely disgusting. It obviously had not been cleaned in a long time. There was dirt on top of dirt, used toilet paper on the floor, dirty sink. I don’t know how the employees use this bathroom and then go handle food

Even though the food is just like any other subway, the restaurant in itself is nasty and always dirty. I ordered pick up food at 9 pm because the store was supposed to be open till 10 pm. I received an order confirmation from the store that took my money but when I went to pick it up, they told me they didn’t have my food because they don’t take orders after 9 pm. There was no management present, the staff had already started cleaning up even though customers were present and I didn’t get my food.
The young kids working there were rude and too lazy to do their job and hence, we did not get food that night. When we asked for our money back, they said they couldn’t do anything but when we asked for management they got extremely scared and decided that they could then help us with our food. They lied about their names too. We were not going to wait for our food obviously and had to dispute the charge with our bank. I wrote to the subway team and never heard back. This has been my worst experience with a chain I love and I will never go back. Worst Subway in Savannah

Read the reviews before going here! We specifically asked one of them if the pieces of bread were toasted, and he said they were (by feeling it with his glove), but they weren’t, so all the sandwiches were cold. One of the people making the sandwiches made a 12 inch sandwich when we asked for a 6 inch. There was a large empty space on one side of the restaurant where there were no tables, and the other space that did have tables had very few tables. The restroom was poorly maintained, it was dirty and it smelled bad. The seats at the tables were also dirty. The person making the sandwiches was trying to make them quickly, which is probably why he accidentally made a 12 inch sandwich instead of a 6 inch one. Overall, bad experience, don’t go here.

Couldn’t believe a Subway in the heart of downtown Savannah. Was in this state the restroom beats any nasty gas station. All the disgustingness you can imagine. This people they don’t even clean the restroom. Everything in my order was bad. The tomato and lettuce was bad. Even the bread was stale. We can in to save some bucks since the area can be fancy and expensive. Save yourself some troubles and go to a place nicer. This place is disgusting.

The food was tasteless and it wasn’t fresh. My good friend threw his food away. We order double meat that appeared to be half of a serving. The floor was so dirty it looked like it hadn’t been mop in awhile. Then another friend looked over the counted and got disgusted because it was so dirty. She filled out an grievance with the Health Department. I will never eat there again.

For a while I ate here as a downtown worker because it was convenient. I got food poisoning after a worker mishandled some of the food. That same worker consistently has a bad attitude with people. Today when just trying to get a bottle of water they actively ignored a line of 6+ customers as they proceeded to rack and rerack the same shelf of bread and disappeared into the back.
Some of their employees are trying but the restaurant overall seems neglected and as long as they let the poor customer service and bad attitudes continue it’ll never improve.

Weirdest subway experience ever. The food was okay, but we barely made it in before the employees locked the doors because they were supposedly overwhelmed with orders. We stayed locked in the whole time while people tried the doors and banged on them while gesturing to us to let them in. It was super uncomfortable. The employees kept yelling at people. Would not visit here again.
