This is simply magical. I tried it for the first time, everything is fresh and delicious, like homemade food. You won’t find dumplings like these in the store. Everything is very tasty.

I got the Potato Pelmeni (potato dumplings with cabbage slaw and a cucumber-tomato salad, and I must say, this is outstanding! I would call this “Haute Home Cooking”. The chef deserves high marks. The tastes are extremely well-balanced, with no one flavor overpowering. Each item is a complex yet delicate symphony of harmonious favors. A lot of care went into this. Highly recommended!

Mother Russia would be proud!!! Stopped by for diesel across the street came across this wonderful spot. First time trying Russian food, and it did not disappoint. I went with #16 Mary’s, which contains chicken, bacon, cream sauce, and cheese… comes with a side salad. Salad had a great light dressing, I am unsure what it is, but it has a slight lemon taste that went great with the main course. The main course is basically a huge and stocky empanada. It is filled with great tasting chicken, crispy bacon, melted gooey cheese, and good tasting cream sauce. Great tasting and filling… They have breakfast options that I would love to try. Would like to try more of the menu and would definitely recommend it!

I’ve never been more impressed, and mortified that they don’t have a stand/restaurant near me. Absolutely delicious. The Moscow sandwich pastry thing, was incredible. It taste like it’s been marinated for 24hrs or something it’s that good. A must stop for my family for as long as they are around (hopefully many years)

Very delicious food . The bread had a soft sweet taste to it. The borsch taste just like vegetables soup my grandmother use to make. And that cheesesteak bread wrap thing was awesome. Every time I’m in Portland, I’m coming here to EAT EAT

Pros: I found this place by chance and was pleasantly surprised—the dumplings were really good, which is a rarity in the U.S.
Cons: The portion for $19 was quite small—at this price, I expected more, especially since neighboring dishes cost around $10. That’s why I can’t give it 5 stars.
By the way: Borscht is not a Russian dish.

Food was great, my wife and I got two of the piroshki meat pies and they were both great, fun to try out of the ordinary foods. I also got the deep fried apple pie, amazing and absolutely a huge portion! Definitely could be shared.
My wife wasn’t going to have any of the apple pie, but I offered her a taste so she said she’d have one bite… Half the dessert later I got it back . Besides, her exclamation of “that’s amazing”, I think her words were “now that’s junk food done right!”
We travel this route regularly when visiting family we will absolutely be stopping here again.
