Santo Fish – Where Pico Rivera Meets the Sea
9060 Slauson Ave, Pico Rivera, CA
From the moment you walk into Santo Fish, you’re greeted with a vibe that’s equal parts coastal charm and modern Mexican flair. The ambiance is relaxed but elevated—think volcanic stone plates, vibrant cocktails, and a playlist that makes you want to stay for one more round.
Start with the Sea Guacamole—a creamy, ocean-kissed blend of avocado, shrimp, and octopus that sets the tone for what’s to come. Pair it with their house chips and a mezcal piña cocktail (yes, with charred pineapple!) and you’re already winning.
Must-Try Dishes:
Governor Tacos: Sinaloa-style shrimp tacos with sautéed onions, peppers, and melted Monterrey cheese. Rich, savory, and perfectly balanced.
• Pulpo a las Brasas: Charred octopus served on volcanic stone with veggies smoky, tender, and unforgettable.
• Aguachile en Salsa Morena: A bold, spicy shrimp ceviche marinated in dark sauce and chiltepin. It’s got kick, depth, and a flavor that lingers in the best way.

Vegan Options: Surprisingly thoughtful! The Cauliflower Spice Ceviche and Jamaica Flower Tacos are flavorful enough to make even seafood lovers pause.

Service: Attentive and knowledgeable. Gabby, in particular, knows the menu inside out and makes stellar recommendations.

Price Point: Slightly upscale for Pico Rivera, but the quality and creativity justify it. Portions lean gourmet, not gut-bustingperfect for savoring.

Final Take: Santo Fish isn’t just a seafood spot—it’s a culinary experience that blends tradition with innovation. Whether you’re a ceviche connoisseur or just craving something fresh and bold, this place delivers.

Tasty seafood, plenty of seating and reasonable prices. I’m very pleased with my dinner. The server is nice and thoughtful. My only observation is perhaps the environment would look better and the photos come out nicer if they change the light bulbs to a warm tone. I will happily be back.

Santos Mexican Seafood is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The menu is a seafood lover’s dream—fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic Mexican flair.

I tried the shrimp tacos and the ceviche, and both were out of this world. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned and grilled, while the ceviche was bright, zesty, and refreshing. Every bite tasted like it came straight from the coast of Mexico.

The service was attentive and friendly, and the staff clearly takes pride in what they do. It’s rare to find a place that balances great food, welcoming service, and a laid-back vibe so perfectly.

If you’re looking for incredible Mexican seafood, Santos is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back—highly recommended!

Wow, wow!! A must-have! If you like sea food, this place is gonna make you love it. We just had the best shrimp tacos EVER!! seriously. Their Tacos Costeños were so good. You don’t even need to add any salsas or anything else in them. They were truly delicious.
We also order their guacamole and chips, which are very fresh and good.
Ceviche Vallarta, the shrimp was so fresh and really good.
The camarones en salsa de ajo were con to perfection and just the right amount of garlic.
Our server, Noel, was the best. He gave us the best service we have ever received at any other restaurants. His recommendations and tweaks were on point. Only to find out, he is the owner. Great service.
We had a guava and a Jamaica Mezcalita, very yummy. It’s not too overwhelming. The Michelada was my husband favorite.
The restaurant is big and very clean. We made reservations ahead of time. They have plenty of tables and booths. It’s a very nice, big separate bar with plenty of sitting around it. And good drinks. Restaurant is very welcoming, big and cozy.

This place is fantastic! It has a modern, spacious vibe that makes you feel like you’re dining at a high-end Mexican resort. The atmosphere is lively, with upbeat Mexicano hip-hop that makes you want to dance in your seat.

Service? Absolutely top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and great at recommending dishes that truly bring your taste buds to life.

We started with the complimentary chips and salsa (a great touch), then ordered the Marea Negra ceviche — and wow. The mix of diced mango, habanero chiles, and shrimp was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Pro tip: Add a little mayo — it takes it to the next level!

The marlin tacos with Monterey cheese were incredible — smoky, cheesy, and deeply satisfying.

We also tried the langostino — a bit overcooked, but the rich, flavorful broth it came in was amazing. Paired with rice and their handmade tortillas, it still hit all the right notes.

Definitely coming back to try their signature white fish dish — Pescado Zarandeado — next time!

Had such a great experience here! We tried the caldo mixto, Mixto Del Mar ceviche, NY steak surf & turf, and the Zarandeado Santo Fish. The caldo was rich and comforting with plenty of seafood, the ceviche was super fresh with bright, clean flavors, and the surf & turf had a tender, well-seasoned steak paired with perfectly cooked shrimp. The Zarandeado fish was the highlight—smoky, flavorful, and cooked just right. Friendly service and an overall solid dining experience. Highly recommend!

I can’t talk about this place enough! The service was great, the margaritas were amazing, and the food was delicious! My husband got the Marlin tacos, and I got the Governor tacos. We also got an order of the guacamole and chips. Overall the experience was great and I would highly recommend.

If you’re searching for a seafood restaurant in Pico Rivera, look no further than Santo Fish. This restaurant is simple yet charming, with pleasant music that allows for conversation. The service is fantastic—attentive and friendly. The food is delicious, starting with the freshly made seafood guacamole, which is savory. I highly recommend the grilled octopus, perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. It is served with flavorful rice, but the real highlight is the strawberry mixed salad as a delightful accompaniment. The seafood soup is also flavorful and rich, although it can be made less spicy upon request. Prices are reasonable and well worth it. Don’t hesitate to give this place a try; you won’t be disappointed. Excellent experience all around!

Hands down one of the best Mexican Seafood restaurants I’ve tried in LA County. It’s been a week since we dined and I’m still thinking about this spot! First, the decor and ambiance is modern yet classy. Very beautiful. I love the blue and white with wood tones.

Food and drinks were AMAZING! AGUACHILES and CEVICHE NEGRA were fresh, so flavorful and had the right amount of spice. Generous with the portion too. YOU MUST GET the ZARANDEADO FISH. I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s huge and can feed up to 5 people. Fish was meaty and flaky, you can taste the char flavor. Served with fresh corn tortilla. Eat it with the pickled carrots, salsa verde and omg so good!

And their DRINKS are sooo good. The GUAVA fresca tasted like it has real guava and my mom loved the JAMAICA!

Service was great. Food came in a timely manner and our server was patient with all the questions I had.

Highly recommend this spot!
