very rude woman on the phone, i attempted to place an order at 9:20pm, the store closes at 10pm. the woman on the phone told me i am unable to order food if i am not at the store as soon as the call ended. she stated they close at 9:45 and if i did not come now, they would not make my food. extremely rude and unprofessional. i will never give this place another chance, go somewhere else if i were you.

I just love this place! I have only eaten from this place when I lived in Old Bridge for 13 years. We moved to South Jersey & every now & then stop by! We really miss coming here at least once a week! When you find a place like your favorite go to & family atmosphere, keep going! Excellent food always, hot, fresh & our favorites are chicken & broccoli with garlic sauce or beef, shrimp fried rice or beef, boneless pork ribs, my son’s special, fried chicken wings combo with beef fried rice no vegetables & also pork fried rice too! The best is that they make you feel special & get to know you by name! I would call & they would say is Joe picking up & I would say yes! Or they would always say tell your wife hi. That’s good hospitality! This is the only Chinese restaurant I like & next to it is the one in the freehold mall close to me! But the next chance I will be back at China express! Great job China express & thank you!

This place has been my go-to Chinese spot to get food from the foods pretty good the service there is great the ladies that take your order are very sweet very genuine and they always make you laugh. Me and my family have been ordering here for I don’t know how long but it’s our go-to spot, the food portions are good and the prices for most things are fair.

I love Chinese food and being a visitor to the area, I was skeptical of a good Chinese restaurant. Maybe I’m spoiled, but I regularly visit Chinatown in NYC for great Chinese food. I saw the reviews for this restaurant on Google Maps and decided to give it a try. I am so happy I did. Sue, the woman who answered the phone was very pleasant and helpful and offered items not even on the menu. The Steamed Shrimp dumplings were amazing! We got 3 different dinner specials, and each came with egg rolls, which were great and fried rice. The order came delivered hot and fresh, not even a half hour later, and was carefully packed with plenty of accompanying sauces, forks, and napkins. They thought of it all. Thank you very much, Sue and staff, for a great dinner, and whenever I’m in the area, you’ll be my go-to for great Chinese food.

For takeout it’s awesome. It is not a place that I would sit down and eat at you most certainly can. But it definitely seems extremely boring and I also need to add that I only eat shrimp rolls mostly which they are awesome maybe once in awhile I will go for an egg roll which is fine. The soup is good and boneless spare ribs are good and the orange chicken is awesome
