Get all the pizza, especially the garbage pie. Old-school Brooklyn vibes in the heart of New Jersey! every Wednesday they have sandwiches, if you don’t get one you’re missing out!
They usually have weekly sweets and pie specials, which are so incredible! Oh, and get the giant garlic knot!!

I used to go to Corner Slice weekly (at least!) when it was located at Gotham West Market in NY, so I had to make a special trip to Maplewood when in North Jersey this weekend!
The pizza was SO good and just as I remembered—delicious crispy crust, great flavors, and such fresh ingredients. We got six slices and while it would be impossible to pick a favorite, the Garbage and Muffuletta slices were incredible. We also shared one of the huge and perfectly garlicky garlic knots.
This is a true New Jersey treasure. The restaurant has such a great neighborhood feel and the service was friendly and efficient. I’m so jealous of the people who live nearby!

After almost 6 years of supporting #SmallBusiness one bite at a time, @BigDudesBigFoods has reached our 1000th post. We headed down to #MaplewoodNJ to @Corner_Slice , an awesome pizza slice shop with a top notch selection of square pies. Mike and his #CornerSlice crew hooked us up with a flight of slices from their famous upside down to Margherita to #BuffaloChicken. My favorite was this week’s special, #ChickenBaconRanch and Joe’s was the #GarbagePie . The mouth watering #GarlicKnots are #BigDudesBigFoods sized for sure and delicious. This shop also has some great desserts. Today we tried the #KeyLimePie and were not disappointed. Corner Slice is a #MustStop for any pizza lover. These slices are soft in the middle and crunchy on the bottom and cooked perfectly. As you walk in and see the giant, nostalgic “Pizza” sign, block walls and church pews, it feels like a Pizza Speakeasy. You’ve got to get to @Corner_Slice #SupportSmallBusiness #BDBFCertified

Delicious pizza and incredible garlic knot. The dough has so much more flavor than the usual dough around here, probably because they use a blend of different flours. Tasty desserts and Italian sodas too!

The pizza is light, airy, with a buttery tasting crust. The slices are on the smaller side given their higher price. We had the upside down Sicilian, Reg cheese slice, white slice, and their margarita slice. My favorites were the margarita and the white slice. They were very good and flavorful! The white slice can use a bit more cheese, but it still was very good! My husband thought their reg cheese slices were very good. I thought the upside down slice was disappointing. The sauce didn’t have any flavor in that slice. Overall the pizza was very good here. I recommend Corner Slice in Maplewood!

If you love good pizza and live in North Jersey, you have to check them out! The garlic knots are so good. I was sad to see the confetti cake go, but they suggested the cinnamon one — guess I’ve got my next visit planned! I ordered the garlic knot. It’s the hugest l’ve ever seen. The pepperoni slice was so yummy.

Really good square pizzas! The crust is thick but still crispy and airy. We tried the buffalo chicken, pepperoni, and two vodka slices. The slices were a bit over-toasted during reheating, so they were suuuuper crunchy and a little on the harder side. Looking forward to coming back and trying some other slices though.

This is a great neighborhood spot. The pizza is fresh even by the slice. It stays fairly busy to where fresh pizza continues to sling out of the oven. The crust is crispy, light and airy, sauce has good flavor, and high quality ingredients are used. I had the Margherita, pepperoni, white, and upside down slices. That is also the order of what I like from best to least. On a 10 point scale in the same order I give 8.3, 8.2, 7.9, 7.7 on a one bite scale.

Great customer service. That garlic knot was friggin delicious. Really do have the best. The pizza isn’t really my thing but it was pretty darn good. Garlic knot 9.34/10 pizza of various slices 7.82.

CRUNCHY FRESH! This is the best explanation I can give for how this pizza taste. I drove down for a slice when I was in town and got more than I asked for. The garlic nots are dangerously delicious. I love the passion put into the shop and the pizza. If your any where near Corner Slice (even if you just ate) you must stop in for a slice.
